The Exchange Program (A Rhett and Link Fanfiction)

Julianne's POV
"Okay looks like I've got everything. Including my phone charger which we all know is most important." I say this to my parents as they drop me off at the airport. They laugh and remind me not to watch any good mythical morning on the air plane because they'll make me pay for the data usage. I agree, but that won't stop me from listening to Rhett and Link's music. I have to say I'm completely nervous, as for now I won't see my parents until June. This exchange program will be for the better though. Not saying there's anything wrong with me but I get to head out of the snowy planes of Illinois and fly to a humble home in sunny California. And for the people out there wondering there is such a thing of exchange programs throughout ones country. There are.The one scary thing is I have no idea who I'm going to be staying with for the next 5 months. Yes the board did do serious background checks so I'm going someplace safe, clean, and their child is switching places with me.
I give Mom and Dad a hug and a kiss and walk to my terminal. This is it, California here I come!

Lilly's POV
"Well, this it it! see you two I'm six months." I give Mom and Dad the biggest hugs ever and walk to my terminal. I can't wait to get out of hot and dry Cali and enter a land of cold and snow. In four hours I'll be with a new set of 'rents and be going to an actual public school. I could not be more excited! And yes I guess you could say I am a lucky one, with just a click I can see my dad, but I'll still miss both of them. I hop onto the plane and wait for it to take me to the Land of Lincoln. Which if your guessing yes my dad is Link Neal and I'm his daughter Lily Neal 11 years old and already leaving home.

Oh my goodness! The planes taking off and I already miss mom and dad. But I also can't wait to meet my "new parents."

Hi everyone I'm Julianne and if you couldn't tell I am a devoted mythical beast. First off I want to thank you for reading but as you may notice I'm not the best. that being said there WILL be spelling errors, I try my best to fix them but it always ends up there being a bunch. I want to give a shout out to my girl Klaira who inspired me to write this with her piece "Forever and Always a Mythical Beast." Also one more thing I also understand that you can't really do an exchange program with someone two years younger than you, but hey it's called fanfiction for a reason!
