11 -  Stranger In The Elevator & Nude Photo Shoots

I had already gone through the final paper at least seventeen times. I knew it because after the seventeenth one I had stopped counting. The truth, though, is that I really did not want to say I was done and then force myself to go to Disick & Brown Enterprises.

I printed a copy for the handsome CEO and then placed it in front of me, on my desk. I stared at it for a while and then let a shaky sigh escape my slightly trembling lips.

George came barging into my room without even knocking and I only frowned. "I can't do this George," I breathed out as soon as I laid eyes on him, hoping he would pity me and agree with me. It was still an option to just let it be and carry on with my life.

"Yes, you can. Stop being a big baby. Get up," he demanded.

"George, don't you think this is too much?"

George sighed exasperated and came to stand in front of me. "Tess, you clicked with one of the most handsome, young and bachelor entrepreneurs of New York. If you do not take advantage of this opportunity, I am blocking you. Not only from social media but in real life as well."

He pulled lightly at my hair to make me stand up. I did so with little protest and soon enough he had shoved me out of my office, into the elevator and accompanied me all the way down to the lobby of our building. He threw me out of the door and defiantly stared at me. I knew there was no way I was walking past him back to the safety of my office. So, resigned, I sighed defeated and started walking towards the metro station.

The ride to Disick & Brown Enterprises had been short, too short for my liking and before I knew it, I was in front of his assistant. This brought me too many flashbacks of a day I was not certainly proud of and that I wished I never had to repeat again.

His assistant had her hair curled up today, looking younger since it was in its natural form. She smiled at me and brought me out of my dazed self. "Can I help you?"

"Yes. I bring something for An-Mister Disick-," I coughed to cover the mistake, "and I would like to give it to him myself. Could you let him know I am here? Or perhaps let me in?" I questioned while I beamed at her and bat my eyelashes, trying to look collected and trustworthy.

"I am sorry to inform you that Mister Disick just left for lunch. I am surprised you did not bump into him on the way up. He must have taken another elevator." She gave me a sympathetic look and I cursed under my breath. I huffed annoyed as I stomped my feet against the floor and got my hands to the side of my hips.

"You can wait for him," his assistant hesitantly proposed. "Or you can hand the document to me and give me your name and a contact number, and I will hand it to him. He will get back to you once he is back."

"How long will it be until he is back?" I questioned, dismissing her past options.

"In about an hour and a half." Shit. The perks of being the CEO, I suppose.

I could not wait for him. I had to be back in my office in half an hour.

I sighed heavily and gazed at the assistant while pondering my options. She only stared at me expectantly, apparently accustomed to uncertainty. I could not help but wonder if Andrew was like that. "Yeah, I'll leave it here so you can hand it to him," I finally gave in. I really wanted to see him and clear things up, but I could not take the freedom to wait so long for him.

"Alright. Please write down your name and number here." She handed me a post-it and a black pen.

I started to write down what she asked for as I continued to speak. "I will be back at night. At what time do you think I could stop by?"
