June's POV
Maya is Malia's sister. Malia is Maya's sister. Let that sink in.
Wait. The fire, Malia was in a fire six years ago according to Ashton and Ethan mentioned Maya dying in the fire. Holy shit. How small can this world be?
Trust me, it'll be really damn small if I knew them, six years ago, as well. I could be like the third sister, since they claim I look so much alike like Maya and Malia.
Was that why Ethan recognized her earlier? Was that why he said 'hi?' Was that also why Hannah came out? Because Malia also recognized Ethan?
"A-are you okay, June?" She lightly rested her hand on my shoulder which startled me.
"Yeah, uh, this is all just news to me." I honestly replied. Does Calum know about this? He has to, I mean, Malia was his first love.
"Obviously. I'm sorry I dumped it all on you." Cassie apologized and I shook my head as if saying it was not a big deal.
I debated with myself whether to ask her about Calum, if they met when they were young but if they did, Cassie would've mentioned it by now, right? Plus she said Calum was the only friend she's had and that was already in Stanford. They could have only met in Stanford.
I can't believe I'm figuring all this out this quick. I mean, I was supposed to be not good with these, right?! I guess I watch too many crime shows.
"Uh, that wasn't Malia, actually." I know it's not my place to tell about Malia's DID condition but Cassie's upset about the way she acted, which was not Malia by the way.
She looked at me confused and I continued, "That was Hannah, Malia has DID." Her eyes widened at the new information.
"Oh my God, oh my God. Does Ethan know about this?" I nodded, thinking about earlier when he witnessed Hannah coming out. It was my first time, as well.
Her hands started playing with the hem of her shirt as if she was being troubled. Now it was my turn to ask if she was okay but before I could even ask her, she turned to me, "I need to go find Ethan, okay? Thank you so much for forgiving me. Let's hang out while I'm in town."
She smiled before standing up and leaving me at the pool. I turned around to see her hurrying inside, which made her awkwardly bump into Ashton.
Ashton must've caught a glimpse of me at the pool as he started walking towards me. "Hey. You okay? I thought you two hate each other?" He smiled, showing me those dimples.
"We're okay now. And we did not hate each other, we just didn't like each other that much." I shrugged and rested my head on Ashton's shoulder. I kinda miss Ashton honestly. I know Michael is my best guy friend but Ashton is like the big brother I never had.
"Where were you anyway?" I mean, he was the one who walked in on us but he wasn't there when I walked down the living room.
He awkwardly coughed, "Uh, just somewhere." I eyed him, obviously suspicious but I let it slide since I don't think it's anything related to me. Let the curly guy has his own secrets.

"Can you uh give me a ride on Wednesday to the airport?" I asked Luke. We're all now eating brunch at 1 in the afternoon, sitting in Luke's kitchen.
He ate a bit of his froot loops before turning to me, "Wawts won Wesway?" I chuckled, clearly understanding every single word even with his mouth full.
"It's my interview in NYU. Calum was supposed to take me but yeah." I drank water from the glass and looked hopefully at him.
The others were still dead asleep in the living room aka Michael and Ashton, the only one up was Mikhaela, who had been talking to her mom on the phone for half an hour already. Ethan and Cassie went home around four in the morning and as for Calum, I don't know where he went or where he slept.
