Calum's POV
I was back at my apartment, packing more of my stuff because June and I are supposed to move to New York next week.
After spending the whole day with Ashton and Eric, I went home to grab some clothes to bring at my parents' house but I ended up packing already.
I haven't talked to June since last night, no texts, or calls, or whatever, but we're seeing each other at dinner, so it's not so bad. Plus, I don't want to look clingy, I'm sure she doesn't, too.
My phone, that was sitting on my bedside drawer, suddenly rang. Luke was calling. "Hey man, what's up?"
"Did you find her?" Luke breathlessly asked. I stood up from my bed and walked towards my cabinet.
"Find who?" I took some more clothes from the cabinet and threw them on the bed, mentally noting to properly fold them later.
"Oh God, you don't know." I don't know what? I furrowed my eyebrows. "What don't I know?"
"Cal, June's missing."

I groaned at the blinding sunlight illuminating inside June's room. Our parents still didn't know about the 'getting to know each other' thing and I plan to stay it that way. I mean, I'm still hoping that June and I get back together, because that's the whole point we're starting over, right?"
But since we're starting over, that meant no sleeping together in the same bed, so I slept on the floor, the rock hard fucking floor. I didn't sleep well, my back hurt a lot.
June was still sleeping soundly on her bed, mouth parted a little, legs and arms wrapped around a pillow.
I chuckled and decided to get out of my made up bed, and go down for some breakfast, if mom made any.
Surely enough, she did. Thank God for mothers.
"Good Morning, honey. I cooked breakfast. You're getting comfortable sleeping in June's bed, huh, Frank won't like that." Mom greeted me as I take utensils so I could eat.
"My room looks lonely when the only thing there is my bed." I chewed on the bacon mom cooked and I sighed at how I missed mom's cooking. I mostly ate takeaways when I started living away.
A moment later, Uncle Frank appeared in the kitchen. I haven't talked to him properly since that night of June's episode, when I questioned him about his real relationship with June.
I muttered a soft 'good morning' to him and he returned it as well. "I'm going to do laundry so I'll leave you two." Mom 'excused' herself. She knew what happened between Uncle Frank and I, so I guess this is her way of saying we should talk.
It was silent for a moment when I decided to cut it, "Uncle Frank, uh, I'm sorry for the way I acted that night."
He looked up at me and smiled sincerely, "That's okay, son, you were curious, but I'd appreciate it if you don't mention anything to June." Too late, though, she's already remembering some things.
"I actually need to ask you something, but I don't want to get in your nerves, I just want to help June." His eyes lit up a bit and he listened to me intently.
"I know what I asked you was sudden but I have bases on why I asked that." I stated and he furrowed his eyebrows. "When you asked me if June was adopted?"
He sat back, straightening his back, his fingers curling tight around the utensils he was holding. "Tell me then."
"For starters, she doesn't remember her childhood. No photos or home videos or whatsoever." I explained.
