You can't have me {A Vampire Romance}

 I walked furiously through dancing vampires, trying to find the one person I needed to say something to. But I was suddenly stopped by a restraining arm and I looked at who it was. The whore that was all over Sebastian. Perfect!

 “Excuse me, but I’m gonna have to ask you to stay the fuck away from Sebastian!” She yelled at me and I raised my eyebrows at her in surprise.

 “Awe, and I thought you were nice. But guess what? You can have him! I don’t fucking want him, and I’m his mate!” I yelled back at her.

 She looked like she’d seen a ghost when I said mate and I laughed. “Excuse me? Are you insane? Sebastian doesn’t have a mate! I’m supposed to be his mate!” She whined.

 “Oh please, save it for later. I really don’t care about you. And yes, for your information, he now has a mate.” I yelled over the loud noises, due to the fact the music just started again. I looked away and when I looked back the bitch slapped me. “Are you kidding me?” I screamed. She just gave me a smug smirk and I shook my head. I swung my fist and slugged her right in her sharp aristocrat nose, producing a loud crack.

 She screamed and flew backwards against the bar and I took the opportunity. I grabbed her by her front collar and slammed her on the bar, straddling her so I could pin her down, and punched her in the face repeatedly. My adrenaline kicked in and I started blacking out in rage. The last things I remembered were lifting her up and asked her if she felt higher than me now, then strong arms pulling me off of her and me struggling like a rabid animal to get back on top of her. After that, I was out.

 I woke up with my head pounding like a tribal drum. It hurt…. Really bad. I tried to lift my head off the pillow but it hurt too much so I just let it drop back into the silk. I noted that I was in my own bedroom though. I turned over and for the first time, no one was in my room. I sighed and tried to go back to sleep, but something was missing. I decided I needed to get up and get something for my head, or at least get some water. I turned back over and looked at my nightstand. There was a glass of cold water, and a pager. I quirked an eyebrow at the pager but downed the water.

 To press the button or not press the button, that is the question. I thought about it for a second, and decided to push it. Two seconds later Ariella came into the room followed by the rest of the brigade. Except Sebastian.

 “Wow, maybe I should get into the habit of pressing mysterious buttons more often.” I said sarcastically and Trace smirked.

 “Do you even remember what happened last night?” Hunter asked, apparently trying to hide amusement.

 “Only the craziest catfight ever!” Trace said in excitement and Hunter thumped him on the chest so he would be quiet.

 “Uh…. What he said?” I replied with a sheepish smile.

 “You almost killed that woman. Her face was so messed up, that it will take even the vampire healing process a while to fix. You’re quite a powerful little fuse. You obviously need no help in the strength department.” Hunter smirked.

 “Well, that definitely takes care of one training subject. So, uh, who’s going to be my new teacher?” I asked.

 “What makes you think you’re getting a new teacher?” Hunter looked appalled.

 “What?! I still have to train with Sebastian?” I yelled.

 “Well, yes. And then some. He will not only be working with you on your memory, but now the basic aspects of being a vampire. All your powers and stuff.”
