And you wonder why I take precautions with my heart?
It is because of you that I do this
I lied to you before
You did hurt me bad but I didn't realize how bad until I hesitated when answering your question
Do I still like you? I loved you, you idiot
You may not have meant it when you uttered the words, but I did
I don't love you anymore, though
I had to let you go because I came to the conclusion that you may never change
But I can't keep letting myself get hurt from that
I can't change you
And I don't want to
But God, if only things were different
I could have loved you until eternity
