CHAPTER 3:

THIS CHAPTER CONTAINS SCENES FROM VARIOUS PLACES SO IT MIGHT BE SLIGHTLY CONFUSING BUT I WILL CLEARLY MENTION THE PLACES BEFORE WRITING THE SCENES. 

THIS WHOLE CHAPTER IS WRITTEN IN THE AUTHOR'S POV.

AUTHOR'S POV:

The House Of Delafontaine:

"Pick up Zach!"Kate Rowan yelled in frustration, she paced around in her room with her forehead creased and wondering why her son was not picking up her calls. He always picks up her call if not then at least call her back after a few days it had been a month since he last spoke to her.

"Lila get me some wine!" she yelled at the middle aged  housekeeper who nodded at her command and was about to go when her daughter Clara  stopped her, "Ma'am I'll go instead of her".

"You should, after all you just freeload in this house and are going to such a prestigious school because of us" Clara mentally cursed out at Kate. 

Clara Da Ville was Kate's personal maid Lila's only daughter with a dead father and a mother who is slowly losing out on her health Clara took things in her own hands. With multiple part time jobs and helping her mother out at the mansion she's been staying in the servant quarters at the mansion since elementary school.

In sophomore of high school she caught the eye of Mr.Delafontaine and became one of the few charity cases to seek admission in the most prestigious school chain in the USA located in LA.

Though there was a school in NYC they sent her to LA as there was 'shortage of charity cases in the LA branch'  as for leaving her old school and friends, they called her lucky to be transferring to such a prestigious school, a branch were most of the elites go. She scoffs everytime she thinks about those words because all she gets is bullied in that school for being from the 'Social Care Group'  she tried fitting in but of no vail.

As for the main bullies its the notorious Zachary and Nathaniel.

she made her way to the front door to go to the wine cellar when she saw Mrs Delafontaine coming in, she was Mr Delafontaines second wife while Kate was a mere mistress, of course their relationship is not that of sisters but enemies while Kate intends to take her place she intends to kick Kate out just as quietly as she had brought a pregnant  Kate into the house.

Allison Victoria Delafontaine was a business strategist she not only handled business well but also her personal life well, after the death of Frederick Markinswell Delafontaine's first wife Eleonore she married him on her brothers advice with a motive of being the lady of the household, she had managed to slowly keep a neutral relationship with her stepson William, and smartly brought Kate in and gave her name to Kate's son Zachary there by strengthening her position in the house, though the women cares for no one she had been a good mother to Zach at least to the outside world.

"Where is she" she asked a nervous Clara "In her room, ma'am" Allison nodded and went ahead to Kate's room.

Kate was yet again trying to call Zach " Zach!!" she yelled in frustration "I see your beloved has ignored your call?" Allison smirked looking at Kate whimpering.

"What is it to you? How will you understand the misery of a mother?" Kate knew it was no use to tell these things to Allison as in the eyes of the society she was the one without a child.

"Oh nothing at all! its just that I wonder why he didn't get in touch with his own 'mom' when he called his mother yesterday" she knew this would hit Kate hard.
