RECAP:

I noticed the door was open and made my way down "How come your early Zach?" I reached down to see a girl arranging flowers on the table, she suddenly turned around and glared at me. She was gorgeous, tall creamy skin. Her appearance made her look rich, with a designer floral dress she stood tall with brown wavy hair.

"Who are you?" she asked me while looking at me with distaste "Who are you?" I asked back, she smirked at my question "I am the fiance of the owner of this house".

 CHAPTER 9

SHAY'S POV:

"Fiance?" I stuttered, she looked satisfied by my expression "Isn't he too young to have a fiance?" I questioned hoping she was lying "We were engaged when we were sixteen" she took her phone out and showed me a picture of their engagement ceremony. "I suggest you quit acting like a cheap whore and leave my fiance's house with your things". 

I could feel the pain, for once I thought I found someone who likes me for me and yet again he was simply playing me. I made my way toward my room and packed my bag and sent a message to Aiden to send me his address.

I came out with my suitcase and pulled it up the stairs "Wait" she called out, she made the way up the stairs and push my luggage down. "What the hell?" I screamed as I ran down the stairs and saw my suitcase broken on the edge, I turned around and glared at her "How would I know you didn't steal anything?" I clenched my fingers at this. I opened my suitcase and show it to her, she flipped it making everything fall out "Do you find anything?" I gritted "I see nothing, nothing at all" she stated. 

"Learn your place, people like you don't belong here so don't even think about messing with Rachel Jacqueline Watson" she slammed the door on my face.I went towards the road and waited for Aiden to pick me up.

ZACH'S POV:

"That's it for today" the teacher left the class when I heard my phone buzz 

'Hey Zach, I am in sydney and I'll visit your place today meet you after school

SHit! Shay's at home for all I know Rachel will create a scene. I immediately packed my bag and ran outside and hailed a cab.

I reached my house and ran inside to see Rachel reading a magazine, I ignored her and ran around the house searching for Shay "Searching for your whore?" Rachel asked coming closer to me "Where is she?" I asked glaring at her "I kicked her out" she replied "What do you mean" she huffed at this "I mean I can't stand the sight of my fiance living with some low  class gold digger" I clenched my jaw "You have no idea what you are talking about" I ran up the stairs "Zachary stop right there! don't forget we got engaged in front of our whole family....." I ignored her and ran outside.

I saw a boy putting her luggage into his car "Shay!" I ran towards her, her eyes looked puffy "Shay let me explain.." I tried to hold her when Aiden stopped me "Stay away Zachary, you have done enough" I gritted my teeth "Don't interfere Chudwell" he chuckled "I have every right to interfere, Alexa is my cousin" he opened the door for her to sit and gave me one last look and drove off.

I made her cry! She was completely honest with me and I couldn't be honest with her, I entered the living room to see Rachel setting the table "I thought you would be hungry?" she smiled at me "How could you make her cry!" I yelled at her, she almost flinched "You are my fiance and I don't like sharing" she stated "Well let's get this into your pretty little head I was engaged to you against my consent" she looked sorry "Look Zach, why don't we forget about her and accept the fact we are engaged, I don't want to fight over a nobody" I ignored her and started going towards my room "I hope you can forget this, I'll come back tomorrow" she took her bag and left.

SHAY'S POV:

"Will Aunt Lisa be ok with me staying at your place?" I asked Aiden as we made our way towards his house "She is upset with your mom not you Alexa" I tried paying attention to what Aiden was saying but couldn't help but feel betrayed by Zach, I thought I found someone who could understand me but I guess I was too naive "Alexa..?! did you hear anything I told you?" Aiden frowned at me "Sorry I was just.." he sighed "Look Alexa, I can see you really like him but he isn't worth your tears. I know him for almost two years and I know he just plays around" I nodded "It's your first time actually meeting someone and liking them so it's might be hard now but you'll get over it" I looked outside the window.

"Mom and dad are making a feast because your coming" he grinned at me "They know? are they ok with me coming?" I asked "Of course they are, you know dad! he doesn't involve us in business 'yet' and mom loves you more than me!" I smiled.

"Alexa!!" Aunt Lisa came and hugged me. Aunt Lisa aka Elisa Ruth Chudwell is my mom's younger sister, she cared about me more than my own mom, her husband John Chudwell is a fun loving man, both of them were nothing like my parents I often wished they were my parents.

They were one of the richest in Australia, they lived in USA with us before my mom had a disagreement with Aunt Lisa and they moved to Australia and we moved to London, the two sisters still didn't talk to each other. It had been long since I had seen them.

"Alexa you look beautiful" Aunt Lisa gushed as Uncle John hugged me. "Come on I made dinner as soon Aiden told me you were coming!" Uncle John patted my back "It's all your favourite! I made most of it " Uncle muttered as Aunt Lisa jabbed him.

"Why didn't you come over as soon as you came to Sydney?" Aunt Lisa asked as she served a dish to me "I stayed at a friends" Aunt Lisa frowned "I am disappointed Alexa! I really hoped you wouldn't avoid us" I felt guilty "Aunt Lisa I swear it wasn't my intention! I ran away from home so if I stayed here they would easily know" Uncle John laughed at this "I guess we all have that time don't we?"Aunt Lisa nodded "Remember when Aiden ran away with his then girlfriend to our beach house and claimed that he wouldn't return unless he got married to her?" I choked on my food and started laughing "Mom..!" Uncle John nodded "And remember he vandalised her car after he realised she was cheating on him the whole time" Aiden turned beet red at this and I couldn't help but let my mind drift back to Zach.

"Goodnight honey" Aunt Lisa kissed my forehead and Uncle John hugged me and left to sleep, Me and Aiden sat down in front of the pool "Anything I can do for my lady?" I giggled "I actually wanted to have fish and fries by the beach" he laughed at my wish "Then my baby sister is getting it".

I woke up and made my way towards the dining room "Good morning" I muttered "Didn't sleep well?" Uncle asked me, I nodded. I in fact hardly slept, all I could think about is Zach "So I heard you two cousins are having a date today" Aiden smiled at me "Yes princess want fish n fries" Aunt Lisa smiled.

"You get amazing fish n fries here Alexa" Aiden told me as we got off the car "You can't get here without reservation" I looked confused "Then.." he smiled at my confusion "My friend owns this place" I nodded when a blonde made his way towards us along with a blonde girl who looked our age "Hey Chuck and Kiki" he hugged them "This is my cousin Alexa" he introduced me to them "This is the friend I told you about" they led us to our table,gave us a hug and left.

We ordered our food and were goofing around when I heard a familiar voice say "Mind if we join?".
