Evan and Connor

It was finally Monday morning. Evan couldn't sleep well at night, because he was so exited with the ideia of having a friend. He was exited too because he was going to talk to Connor.

"Why does he fascinates me so much? He is just another normal boy... a very kind and pretty boy..."

When he realized what he just said he panicked.

"OH MY GOD what did I just think?!!!! Why am I acting this way?!! This never happened before..."

His face flushed but he tried to ignore it.

Evan grabbed the pills for anxiety and some other pills that Doctor Sherman prescribed and put them inside his bag.

Even though he didn't know what the other pills were for, he decided to take them as well. They could be important...

Evan went downstairs and didn't see his mother.

"She must be at work..." He thought.

Evan sighed as he took a bowl and filled it with cereal and milk. He ate his breakfast as quickly as he could and got ready for school on a minute (literally one minute :/ ) and checked the time on his phone.

"It's 6:30... I will be early if I leave now..."

Afraid of being late, he left the house and started walking school slowly, stopping a few times just for admire the nature around him.

He entered the school with a huge smile on his face. He was nervous and happy at the same time!

"What's this feeling? My heart is ponding fast but I'm kinda not nervous and at the same time I'm happy and freaking out! I've never felt like that before! This is something completely new for me..." Evan thought as he walked the hallway.

He was so distracted. Then, he felt someone bump at him.

"U-Umm.. S-S-Sorry.." Evan stuttered, very nervous and kinda scared.

He looked up at the person's face and it was Connor. His face heated up and his hands started to get sweaty. Evan thought he couldn't even talk.

Connor smiled at him and calmly said "Dude, chill. It's ok. Accidents happen. And I was looking for you by the way. Is your arm better?"

Evan smiled back at him and tried to talk, but he couldn't. Then, he just nodded.

Connor's smile got even larger.

"That's good. So umm... I was wondering if you maybe want to eat together at lunch? If it's ok with you. I will understand if you don't want."

Evan's eyes got wide open and he started to stutter.

"I-I would l-love to..."

Evan gave his best puppy eyes and shy innocent smile unconsciously. He was blushing a little too, and this made him look even cutter (if that's humanly possible).

"OH MY FUCKING GOD HE IS SO ADORABLE!!! HOW CAN SOMEONE BE THAT CUTE??! UGHHH" Connor thought.

Connor felt his face heat up and he couldn't help but stare and smile at the cute boy in front of him.

They kept staring at each other for a little. Then, the bell rang.

The two said goodbye and went to their classes. Both of them were exited for lunch time.

~Time skips to lunch time because I'm too lazy to write what happened in class~

Connor went to the cafeteria with a large smile on his face. For the first time, he was really happy, and the sensation was amazing!

Evan was feeling so happy too, but being the anxious boy he is, he was freaking out. He could feel his heart almost exploding inside his chest.

"What if I screw this up? What if he doesn't want to be my friend? What if I have a panic attack? What if he thinks I'm just a loser?" Evan mumbled as he walked down the hallway.

Evan quickly went to the cafeteria and saw Connor sitting alone at a table. He waved at him and Connor quickly waved back.

He sat down next to the taller boy, refusing to make eye contact. Evan was trying so hard to hide his blushing face, that's why he didn't want to face Connor.

The tall boy cleared his throat.

"Uh.. what do you want to talk about? I'm sorry. I've never had a 'friend' before, so I'm kind of new at these things."

Evan didn't respond. He was just staring at Connor, unable to say a word.

The two was just staring at each other again, as they did in the hallway earlier.

Suddenly, Evan felt someone poke his shoulder.

"Heyyyy Hansen. Whatcha doin' sitting with the freak? I guess it's better if you run away before he kill you or something like that." Jared laughed sarcastically.

"Ha ha. What a great joke Kleinman. So... how is my 'favorite' asshole today?" Connor said.

"I was better before I saw you."

The two kept exchanging sarcastic laughs and angry glares.

"Ha ha! Now you are trying to offend me. What a pitiful boy! You just tease me because you have nothing better to do. Why don't you go fuck yourself right now?" Connor said while making a sarcastic face.

After a while, Jared finally left mumbling a "Fuck you" while leaving.

"Ugh... FINALLY he left. I don't support that guy." Connor said, looking a little pissed off.

"U-uhh...a-a-actually he is m-my friend.. I know h-he can b-be mean but h-he is nice... sometimes" Evan murmured the last part.

"I don't know how can you be friends with him. If he is mean with you, you shouldn't be his friend. That's not how friendship works."

"H-He was m-my only f-friend... he-he was t-the closest person t-that I had in all m-my l-life..."

Connor's smile was gone.

"Oh... I didn't know... I'm so sorry. I was so mean right now.. You shouldn't be near me. I'm really a freak."

"C-Connor you are not a-"Evan was interrupted by Connor.

"It's just... I have to go."

Connor left the cafeteria with both of hands on his face. He was crying.

Evan froze for a moment.

"Connor..." he mumbled, looking at the cafeteria door.
