First of all, I want to thank every single one of you for reading my book. You have no idea how incredibly happy it makes me to see all the reads. And also, thank you for voting. :)

Jade's POV

"Oh my gosh, I just got an incredible idea for a new song!" Perrie suddenly exclaims. We don't have anything else to do at the moment, so we thought we might as well sit down to think for a few ideas for new songs already.

"Tell me."

"Basically just a song about a gay couple that has to be hidden from the outside because they're scared that people won't accept it."

"Like 'Secret Love Song'?"

"Ow. Yeah, basically. Well, in hindsight maybe it's not an incredible idea. I mean 'Secret Love Song' is amazing, but we're not just gonna write a song about the exact same topic, right?"

"True, but we will write an LGBTQ+ song. I'll make sure of that." I say, knowing how much of an impact this song has on our fans, especially our LGBTQ+ fans. I've probably mentioned this like a million times, but I feel like it can't even be said enough. People are people and they can love whoever they want to love, even when it's someone from the same gender. It doesn't matter and all the hate these people are getting is totally unnecessary.

"We definitely will."

We have a concert this afternoon, so we're still stuck at our flat for a few more hours. Perrie has already called her mum to tell her about her break-up witj Alex. Of course, she didn't like the news, because she likes Alex a lot. He was good for Perrie. But well, she'll get a better someone for her daughter, so she'll be alright with it eventually.

I don't have a lot of inspiration at the moment. We already know a few topics we want to sing about, like LGBTQ+, another dirty sex song, maybe a song about our friendship and of course a good bop. But the words just won't come, no matter how many biscuits I eat or how many cups of tea drink.

But then a thought runs through my head. Not about a song, but about Perrie's idea earlier.

"Pez?"

"What?" She looks up at me and those beautiful, blue eyes meet my brown ones.

"I was just thinking about your idea a few minutes ago." I say and I continue when she hums. "Well, are you scared that that will happen?"

"That what will happen exactly?"

"That people won't accept us together and that we will have to hide from the outside." I explain. She looks down and starts fiddling with her fingers, so I stand up and sit down next to her. I pull her chin up with my hand and then take her hands in mine.

"Are you scared?" I ask again.

"Well, I don't know. Maybe I am."

"Why?"

"What if people won't like us together? I know we aren't together yet, but we will be, right?"

"Of course we will, and if people can't accept that, it's their problem. If we want to try this, than that's only down to us and not to anyone else."

"There will be negative comments."

"There will always be negative comments, but we're in this together. We will get through this together. Okay? I'm by your side." I say, hoping to get her insecurities away. She smiles.

"And I'm by your side. We're in this together." She entwines our fingers and leads them to her lips so she can leave a lingering kiss on my hand. Then she turns her head and I don't even have to think twice about this. I lean in rather rapidly and connect our lips. They move in sync. I feel the butterflies erupt in my stomach and I get goosebumps all over my body. We pull away when we both need air.
