Jade's POV
As I run out of that room, all sorts of emotions fill my senses. I'm angry and sad and disappointed and scared, and so much more. I don't know where to go, but my feet drag me to the closest place where I can be alone, which happens to be the public toilet of the hotel. I close the lid and sit on it.
I don't know what to do. I could go to Leigh and Jesy or call my mum, but I'm not really in the mood to talk about what happened. And I can't go back to Perrie. Not in the state I'm in right now.
I cannot seem to get a grip on the situation. I've risked everything for this relationship and now I feel like she's doubting us. Like she doesn't want to risk the world for us. How many times did she say she loved me? Did she even mean it? Probably not.
Thinking about it makes me sick, and before I know it, I'm on my knees in front of the toilet, throwing up. When I'm done, I flush the toilet and start sobbing.
I want to run and get out of here. I need to be as far away as I can be. Taking my phone out of my pocket, I call a cab.
As I get the message of his arrival a few minutes later, I hurry downstairs and get in the car.
"Where can I get you, Madam?"
"Just away from here, please. As far as you can get for 20 bucks." I curse lowly when I see I only got 20 dollars with me.
"Okay, no problem." He starts driving to God knows where.
My mind starts drifting away again. Our stupid management clearly didn't want us to go public, and Perrie was clearly as upset about it as I was. And then all of a sudden she thinks 'they have a point' and 'there's no assurance we will stay together forever'. But isn't that the whole point of a relationship? You never know what might happen, and you have to keep fighting for each other whatever happens. It makes me mad to think that she chooses her fame and success, instead of our relationship. My thoughts are interrupted by the driver's voice.
"I drove about 5km from where I picked you up. This is for £20."
"Perfect, thank you." I pay the driver and get out of the car. It's already getting dark, and the place isn't too crowded, so the chances of being recognized are quite low. I wander the empty streets, while figuring out what to do. There's no way I can go back to the hotel now. I don't have any money on me and I'm not calling anyone.
I want to numb the pain I'm feeling. And there's only one way to do that, and that's by getting as drunk as I possibly can. I start looking for the first bank I can find. As soon as I find one, I go in and take my credit card out of my phone case to withdraw some money.
It's still too early to get into a club, so I enter the first bar I see. I order some tequila and a dry Martini. As I down my first shot of the night, my phone starts ringing.
Perrie
I look at my cell phone vibrating on the table. The call ends before I could even think of picking up. I start sipping my Martini when Jesy calls me. At the same time, Perrie sends me a message.
From: Perrie ♥
Jade, I know you're mad at me, but please pick up. I'm really worried about you. I love you.
A silent tear escapes my eye, but I quickly wipe it away. I put my phone on silent mode and shove it in my pocket, ready to order some new drinks.
Some pints, shots, and cocktails later, I get up, pay for my drinks, and walk out of the bar. I check my phone while I'm looking for a nightclub. 17 missed calls from Perrie, 8 from Jesy, and 12 from Leigh-Anne. Even Jed called me 3 times. Curiosity gets the best of me and I unlock my phone to take a look at the messages.
From: Jesy
Call me back asap. Don't do things you're gonna regret. We're worried, Jade
From: Leigh-Anne
Come on poopey, just accept one call so we know you're save.
From: Perrie ♥
I'm so sorry about what I said. Please answer or call me back. I need to know you're okay. I love you forever xxx
Tears spill from my eyes and I don't even bother to look at the other messages they send me. I turn off my phone and put it back in my pocket.
About 100m away from me, I see a club. There's people walking in and I can already hear the music. I walk a bit faster to get there sooner. As I get inside, the first thing I do is order some drinks. And with a cocktail in both of my hands, I walk through the crowd. By the time I get to the dancefloor, one of my cups is already empty, so I put it on a table.
Soon enough, I've made some new friends. Amy and Belle are both 23 and best friends. We've done shots together like I never did before.
"Okay, who are you going home with?" Belle asks me.
"What do you mean?"
"It's a Tuesday and you're drunk as fuck in a nightclub, so there's clearly something wrong. Who are you sleeping with tonight to forget whoever you're torn up about?"
Up until this point, going home with someone hadn't even crossed my mind. But, at the moment, I'm doing everything to get Perrie out of my mind. So, I look across the room. My eyes land on a tall guy with blond hair.
"That one looks nice." I point at him.
"Good choice, go for it." Amy gives me a weak push in his direction.
"And what do I say? I'm the world's worst flirter ever." I admit.
"Just be nice to him. He'll take you home in no time. Here, watch and learn."
Amy walks up to a guy a few meters away from us. She whispers something in his ear and he nods eagerly. They talk for a minute, before their lips attach.
"That's how you do it." Belle says, also looking at the two.
"Jade, someone clearly left you heartbroken. Stop moping over it and go for it. You need it." Belle also walks towards a guy and starts flirting with him. Soon enough, his hands are on her butt and they're kissing. I'm still standing at the table with a drink in my hand. Downing the last of it, I put my cup down and walk up to the blond guy.
"Well, hello. It's not every day a pretty girl like you walks up to me." He says.
"We can even call it a night if you want."
"Sounds good to me. Do you want to dance first?"
"Sure." He grabs my hips and guides me to the middle of the club. He dry humps me from behind, so I grind into him.
"I'm Felix, by the way. What's your name, babe?"
"I'm Jade."
"Pretty name for a pretty girl." His hands move my hair behind my shoulder, and then he leans in to kiss my neck. I feel his hardened shaft against my bum and that only encourages me to grind down harder against him. He moves his left hand to the front of my pants while the other one is still holding my hip. His hand then moves inside of my jeans and he starts stroking my folds through my underwear.
"Do you mind taking this somewhere else? My house is around the corner."
"Yeah, take me out of here."
Felix entwines our hands and he pulls me with him. As we step outside, the cold air blows through my mind. I suddenly realise how drunk I got myself and almost fall over. Felix puts his arms around my waist to steady me.
Everything gets blurry and I'm not sure whether we're still walking or not. Some commotion behind me grabs my attention, so I turn around.
"Jade, what on earth are you doing?" I recognise Leigh-Anne as she gets closer.
"Don't worry, I'm taking her home." Felix says, holding me closer to him.
"I don't think so. She's coming with us." Jesy pulls her arms around my waist to hold me up.
I look at Leigh's disappointed expression and then in front of me. Perrie is looking at me with tears in her eyes. I choose to remain silent, because I know I will say things I'll regret.
Then, Jesy and Leigh sit me down in a car and they all join me, before the vehicle starts moving.
