Haley whimpered as the dr put pressure on her right ankle, both Scott boys had yet to enter the cubical as they heard her cries in agony. Lucas was sat on one seat as Nathan sat opposite running his hands frustratedly through his hair. Hearing Haley in pain broke his heart and all he wanted to do was open the curtain and hold her hand through it all. Lucas sighed flipping his samsung phone noticing yet another missed call from his mom "Nate, I'm going to go and call my mom and Haley's parents. Can you wait here and if they let you go in message me?" He handed His younger brother a piece of paper which had scrawled number on it. Nathan agreed encouraging him to go and contact the parents as he wasn't near close enough to her parents to tell them she was hurt.
"Its broken, I'm sorry Haley" the dr sighed signing a slip, "can your boyfriend wheel you to the casting wing?" Haley was about to jump in telling him neither boy was her partner when the curtain opening dramatically. "Yes, I can do that" Nathan was stood there next to a nurse who was holding a wheelchair. "Ok then Miss James, after getting your plaster cast you must keep it clean for 3 weeks and try as hard as you can to stay off that foot.. You hear?" Haley nodded gratefully. Suddenly, she felt herself being lifted bridal style into the air "Nathan!" She scolded, the dr laughed lightly at the boys persistence. "Mr Scott, she can hobble into the chair I am sure" Nathan blushed feeling his face flush. Haley smiled at his embarrassment and thanked him as he finally placed her gently into the four wheeled chair. Bidding goodbye to the dr and kind nurse they continued on to the plaster room.
Lucas ran around the hospital searching for his former best friend friend and brother. He told Nathan to tell him if things changed after talking to the nurse he rushed around trying to find the nearest plaster cast room.
"I will be right back i just need to get the supplies" nathan and Haley both nodded awkwardly. "never thought we would be here did we?" Nathan tried to joke, Haley only sighed. "Im trying here Hales, you need to talk to me" Nathan wanted her back the girl who was hopelessly in love with him only 48 hours ago. "You lied the first few weeks of our relationship Nathan, which only proves that you are the same player.. Even Peyton warned me about you! But i was too stupid and naive to believe you could actually like me!" Nathan winced at her sharp tone, he didn't want her to see the old him, the boy before her. "You changed me Haley, back then i would have never had stood up to my father the way i have.. I never would've stayed with a girl seriously before you, I.. I.. Love you" he mumbled the last past part to himself hoping secretly Haley heard.. And she did.
"You love me?" Haley was shell shocked. A boy had never actually professed his love to her, hell! A boy had never liked her for who she was before. Nathan nodded scared to look up at her as she stayed silent "Haley I need to know.. Will you ever be able to forgive me?"
Cliffhanger!? Can she ever forgive and forget?
