(Y/N)'s POV :
I was really happy after saving Nekoette and Dmitri the other day. I could finally be trusted. When I was guard in my village, nobody really trusted me. No one even told me why they couldn't trust me. I was finally free after i decided to leave that village. I didn't want to tell anyone from where I was either...they wouldn't trust me anymore, and that's the last thing I want. Phoenix Drop feels like home now. I don't know everyone yet, but I'm sure I'll get along with them just well!
GARROTH's POV :
Since ever I saw her in that forest, I knew that I saw her before... but i can't place my finger on it! She said it was her first time in Phoenix Drop so I don't really know where I saw her. Now that i think of it, she didn't tell anyone from what village she came from.
DANTE's POV :
I was just on my patrol shift at the front gates when I saw two guards approaching.
When I looked at their armor, I realized it was O'khasian guards from O'khasis. Garroth, Aphmau, Laurance and (Y/N) showed up.
(Y/N)'s POV :
When I saw the O'Khasian guards, I freaked out. What were they doing here?! Is it because of me that they're here?! I was frightened.
"Lord Garte Ro'meave of O'khasis sent us to search for a guard that went missing about a week ago." Said one of the guards
I thought to myself... Garte Ro'meave... he must be Garroth's dad! I knew he sounded familiar! But the Ro'meave's are...horrible people..? Garroth is very nice though...
"I think you are in the wrong village sir. We do not have any O'khasis guard here." Said Aphmau politely
"We searched every single village in Ru'aun except this one. We need to search here before getting to any conclusion." Said the other guard.
"Can you please tell us the name of the missing guard? Maybe it would be easier for us to find them." Asked Aphmau.
"(Y/N) (L/N)" Said the guard.
I was screwed. I hid behind a house in order to listen to the conversation.
"What...?" Said Garroth.
"Is there a chance you know her, sir Garroth?" Asked the guard.
He stared at the guard for a few seconds, and then said "No. I don't know anyone with that name, my apologies."
Was he...protecting me?
I ran away towards the beach.
THIRD PERSON POV :
"What was that sound?" Said the guard.
"Oh.. it's just the..cat!" Said Garroth running towards the sound.
