Karma broke into a pleased smile. "A little early aren't we?" He asked teasingly.

Nagisa sighed before placing a hand on his hip. "What's the plan this time?" He asked without any hesitation.

Karma's smile only grew wider by his words. He placed his drink on the ledge of a window next to him before walking up to Nagisa face to face, his smile unwavered.

"We're going to have so much fun." He  said excitedly.

"THIS ISN'T FUN." Nagisa was breathing so heavily as he wiped off the sweat that had formed on his forehead.

Karma just whistled at the beauty of a vandalized statue of their school's mascot. He clapped his hands to remove any traces of dust before opening up another set of spray paint.

"What, so cleaning a statue ain't fun?" Karma teased again and Nagisa only glared at him.

"You definition of cleaning is coloring Kunundon into a pink statue?" He hissed as Karma shook another bottle of spray paint on his hand.

Karma just hummed at his words before spraying the pink pigment on the statue's smile. "I like pink, it's a manly color." He said without caring.

Nagisa just sighed at his words.

This wasn't the first they had done something horrible.

If there was thing he doesn't want his mother to know, was that---

He was an ND in the making.

Nagisa and Karma had this religious hobby of doing something mischievous in school just for Karma's delight and much to Nagisa's displeasure. This was something that Karma wanted for a while now since it was their last year in high school before they parted ways in college.

As if, Karma had an intention of going to college that is.

All because of that promise.

Nagisa covered his mouth with the mask that Karma gave a while ago as he just observed his friens going crazy with the pink spray paint set. How he had the time to buy the set was a mystery to him.

After all, it was Karma.

Even if he was the most vile student that was ever enrolled in this academy, Nagisa still wanted to be his friend. It seemed to him that this was a kind of friendship that he never intended to have but knew he needed it.

Karma was his friend, or so as he thought.

Karma glanced back at Nagisa and removed the mask he was wearing. "Lovely isn't it?" He askes him.

Nagisa just nodded with barely an interest in mind. Karma set the now empty bottle of spray paint into the box of its same kind and sat beside Nagisa.

He layed his head down his friend's shoulder and closed his eyes. Nagisa didn't mind, this happened a lot of times before and he had now grown used to this kind of level of skinship.

"Nagisa..." Karma whispered.

Nagisa looked down to see Karma staring at him. His golden eyes were shining under the fake luminescent lights of the street posts near them.

Nagisa felt a tug on his heart. "What?" He asked since Karma had no further intention of continuing his words.

Karma just smiled slightly at him. "Nothing, you look cute tonight." He complemented.

"I said I was sorry." Karma wailed out as he jogged up to his angered friend while cupping his cheek where Nagisa had hit him unexpectedly. Nagisa continued to ignore him until he had reached the back door of the school's boy's dormitory.

He whipped around to see Karma still cupping his smarted cheek. He crossed his arms as he stared down at his friend.

"I'm sorry alright? It was supposed to be complement." Karma said while trying to ease his friend's mood.

Nagisa huffed out but he couldn't stay mad at hia friend any longer. Karma was special.

Karma was his friend.

"Fine." Nagisa finally said and Karma broke out into a smile and cheered silently with his hands up in the air before hugging Nagisa close to his chest.

Another tug,

Another tattoo,

Another ba-dump on his chest.

Nagisa looked up at Karma. He was definitely attractive, talented and very intelligent.

If only his personality made up for it with how awful it was.

Nagisa just smiled as he pushed him off. "I'm going home now." He said.

"You don't have to see me off every time." Nagisa said with slight annoyance as glanced to see Karma by his side. Karma was already in trouble but he barely cared about it.

"I just wanted to spend some quality time with you." He said suddenly.

"You did."

"That wasn't quality time, that's business."

"Does it matter?"

Karma looked at him. His face gone blank as he stared down at his friend.

If he only knew what was going on on the redhead's mind.

"It matters to me." Karma finally answered before glancing quickly and pushed him off to a nearby bush.

Nagisa was about to yell at his friend again until he heard someone spoke up suddenly.

"Akabane, what are you doing here?"

It was the student council president.

He peeked quietly from the bush he was hiding to see the student council president and Karma staring at each other face to face. Karma just gave an easy smile.

"An evening walk, got a problem with that?" Karma answered.

Asano clicked his tongue. "You are now past your curfew. Do you want another detention from the prefect of discipline?" He mildly threatened.

Karma just shrugged his shoulders. "Do what you want carrot head." He teased.

Asano glared hard at him before walking off into the distance. Karma kept his eyes on that president before he finally disappeared into a distance and turned to look where he had pushed Nagisa.

His eyes met with his and he felt his heart skip in beat, not only by fright. Nagisa stared at him before glanced where Asano had disappeared to.

"Go back to the dorms. I'll be alright." Nagisa reassured.

Karma didn't look all too happy but he sighed and obeyed him. He ruffled Nagisa's hair before giving him an obe arm hug.

"Take care on your way home." He whispered into his ear before moving quickly as Nagisa was about to elbow his stomach

Karma just laughed before waving his hand as farewell to him before walking off. Once he entered his assigned building, he felt a little lonely.

He honestly liked Nagisa's company.
