"---that will be all. I will let Kuro-Sensei inform you on the date of the competition." The board chairman placed down the documents and handed over waivers to the two students in front of him.
Karma just stared at the waiver before shoving it in his pocket. "Barbaric." Someone coughed and the redhead tilted his head to glare at the person next to him.
"Did you say something?" He smiled menacingly but Asano didn't bother looking at his direction.
That what I thought, he thought before standing up from his seat. "Bye." He then walked out of the office with a loud bang when he closed the door.
Asano just glared at the direction where the redhead had disappeared off to before his attention was caught when he heard someone call his name. "Yes Father?" He asked and the man brought out a few papers out of his drawers.
"This year's theme reminiscence is quite good and the flow of the events is rather intriguing although not much have change except for certain games being entered. I highly approve of it but," He glanced to look at his son. "Make sure that the ND students won't cause another fiasco like before alright? You may leave now."
"I'll do my best." He said before excusing himself to leave the room.
Once he closed the door of the office, he clicked his tongue in annoyance. First thing that annoyed him was his partner for the mathlete competition was Karma, out of all the people that the Board Chairman could pick.
His grades weren't even that impressive to begin with, He thought while walking back to his classroom.
But he knew deep in his mind, he was certainly underestimating the redhead's skills. Sure they were both rivals but his pride couldn't easily be diminished by someone like him.
Even if they were relatives.
He sighed. He had only hope that tomorrow's event would go smoothly and that Karma would not try any funny business to disrupt the parade competition.
"GO GO LET'S GO LET'S GO THIRD YEARS! GO GO LET'S GO LET'S GO THIRD YEARS!" The participants roared out while banging their cheer balloons as they walked out of their academy's gates. The overall head of the cheer was the student council as they waved their cheer balloons for another roaring cheer.
It was like that for a few minutes before the real competition began as each class began screaming their own cheers and making more noises as they go. Everyone was hyped but at the same time a bit sluggish since they woke up earlier than usual to prepare for the first event of their school festival.
"I'm getting tired." Kayano whined as she stopped banging her balloons together. Nagisa just laughed lightly at her, "I think everyone is." He said while glancing at the other students who were cheering loudly.
Kayano glanced around as well. "I guess you're right but we've gotta do our best." She felt pumped up as she clenched her balloons and began screaming again.
The blue-haired just smiled at that. There was nothing he could do about that but he was glad that the event on the first day was going smoothly so far.
He felt someone bumped next to him and he was about to apologized but had his eyes widen a little. "K-Karma?" He stuttered a bit.
The redhead just grinned at him, He wasn't wearing the prescribed attire which was the designed shirt of this year's festival and pair of pants with shoes.
He was wearing something like it was a lower part of a Chinese lion dance costume with a little face paint drawn on his face. He wrapped an arm around Nagisa's shoulders before leaning in close to him.
