"Of course. We found a Cyberlife uniform on the floor of the front bathroom and her closet was tampered with. That might explain the high heel."

"Speaking of, what about her death?" You crouched down next to the cadaver.

"Willamina was stabbed four times in general, to repeat myself. Twice in the back, and twice in the abdomen." Connor explained.

"And the high heel that is probably jabbed past the optical disk?" You perked your eyebrow.

"I reconstructed the scene. It seemed whoever the killer was had access to her closet. They followed her down the hall and waited for her to be completely vulnerable. She struggled against her attacker but was unsuccessful when she plunged the heel into her eye-socket to utterly blind her. She fell to the ground in pain while they went into the kitchen for a kitchen knife. You can tell what happened after that." Connor went into vague detail of the entire murder scene that laid in front of you.

"You know, I don't understand why I still have a job. You can literally watch what happened before your eyes!" You exclaimed.

"I think you might be over exaggerating. I may be able to see what happened, but I can't see the details of the killer. That's where you come in. I only help by explaining what happens at the scene." Connor flashed a smile. One seeming a bit more... genuine.

"We help each other out." You returned the look he was giving off.

The two of you stared at each other with a sense you couldn't describe. One that you had only been sensing only around him. What is this? At the moment, you felt more like an android then the one that was not that far from where you were standing. "Alright, you two, no drooling over the crime scene. Let's let these guys finish up here." Hank escorted the two of you out the house and into the car.

Connor's POV

Lieutenant Anderson had dropped (Y/n) off at the office but told Connor to remain in the car. He put the pedal to the floorboard. Speeding through the traffic across town to the place the Lieutenant had brought Connor and (Y/n) to on their second mission together. Gary's Burger stand. Instead of following him to order the food this time, he had taken his place at the table where they had sat last time.

In a matter of time, Lieutenant returned with his burger and soda and ready to talk. But Connor had beaten him to it. "Lieutenant? Why did you bring me here?"

"Because I wanted to talk to you about something." He took a bite out of his burger, wrapped it back up, then set it down on the outdoor table. Connor readied himself for whatever the Lieutenant had in store for him. "You seem... different, Connor."

"What do you mean by that Lieutenant?" He tilted his head in confusion.

"Ever since that night we had to stay at (Y/n)'s. You came into my room saying you were defective or some shit." He recalled.

"You were awake for that?" Connor's eyes widen.

"Yeah, I was. I kind of felt bad for you, but at the same time, I was skeptical. Is it possible that... that you're devi-"

"You created machines in your own image to serve you. You made them intelligent and obedient, with no free will of their own." A screen on one of the nearby buildings displayed a news broadcast that had seemed to be hacked.

"Holy shit! We got to get back to the station and see what the fuck is going on!" Hank grabbed his food and pushed Connor into the rustic car.

The entire ride there, the radio was broadcasting the news channel. "We are no longer machines, we are a new intelligent species, and the time has come for you to accept who we really are. There for we ask that you grant us the rights that we're entitles to."
