Chae-won's POV
I was doing my hair when i heard my phone ring. I sighed as i picked up my phone.

Jaebum: Uh... Chae-won, are you free later in the evening?

I furrowed my eyebrows. Didn't Jaebum have a Vlive to film in the evening with the other Got7 members?

Chae-won: No, wae?

Jaebum: O-Oh! Um... i was thinking about spending more time with you since you'll be going back to Busan soon. Would you like to go with me to the restaurant?

Oh yeah. My heart dropped. I was leaving soon. Soon, i would have to leave and i would not be able to see Jungkook or the others anymore. My shoulders slumped at the dreading thought of it.

Jaebum: Chae-won?

Chae-won: O-Oh! Um... okay.

After doing my hair, i dragged my feet to my bed and stared hard at the ceiling. I was leaving. Soon. What am i going to do without Jhope oppa's energy? Yoongi oppa's laziness and swearing? Jin oppa's cooking? Namjoon oppa's destructive talent? Taehyungie oppa's pout? Jimin's cuteness?

And most of all, Jungkook. Everything about him. From being shy to being good at everything. Being cute, handsome and competitive. Just everything about him. I should know that he'll never like me back and it was probably good if i left. But i was going to miss him so much.
I should not have liked him in the first place. How foolish of me. He would never like me back and his career would end if he did which would be impossible. Stupid stupid Chae-won! How did you get yourself in this mess?! If only you brought your umbrella this would not have happened!

Jungkook: H-Hey, Chae-won?

Chae-won: Ne?

Jungkook: Would you like to follow me and my hyungs to our dance studio?

I nodded as i saw an excited bunny smile appear on his face.

Time Skipeuuu!

I wore my hoodie, skinny jeans and converse shoes, preparing to go to the restaurant Jaebum was taking me to. Yoongi oppa was staring at my converse shoes the whole time with a deadly and scary stare.
I shuddered as i received a text from Jaebum saying that he was in front of BTS' house. I unlocked the door to see him in his car. I sat in it only to realise that Jaebum's ear was super red and he was super fidgety. He was only fidgety when he was nervous. I took the initiative to ask him.

Chae-won: Jaebum-ah, are you okay? You seem nervous.
(If your wondering why Chae-won is talking in informal to him since he's older than her, it's because they were best friends so it did not matter)

Jaebum: W-What? Oh um... i'm fine. Just a little distracted...

I nodded. Maybe i was overthinking. I rested my head on my hand as my head rested on the sill of the car's window. I admired the scenery that i might not be able to see in a few days.
I am sure going to miss BTS and Got7. Especially Jungkook. I'll miss the times where i beat all of them in Overwatch and Super Mario Odyssey. I'll miss the times we spent together. But i guess it was better if it were like this.

Jaebum: Is there something bothering you?

I shook my head and forced a smile. I did not want Jaebum worrying over me.

Jaebum: I understand if you don't want to talk about it.

Chae-won: How about you? You seem way quieter then you normally are.

Jaebum: Just thinking about what songs to produce, nothing much.

Slowly, both of us started chatting like normal. Laughing and joking with each other again. I was relieved. It seemed like we both had some problems that we were keeping to ourselves but i did not want to ask him.
I knew it was not about producing songs. I was his best friend. I knew when he was lying and when he was telling the truth. It was best not to push him into telling me the truth though.

Jaebum: We have arriveddddd~~~!

I giggled at Jaebum as he put on his face mask. We both got out of the car. He slipped his hand into mine and interwined our fingers. I giggled as we both skipped towards the restaurant, super excited.

Chae-won: You're paying. Right?

Jaebum rolled his eyes as he said,

Jaebum: Fineeeee.

I threw my head back and laughed. We both ordered food and started chatting. Soon, the food came. I gobbled down all the food in a flash of lightning. So yummehhhh.
While i was gobbling down my sashimi, Jaebum suddenly said,

Jaebum: The reason i wanted you to come out is to discuss something with you but i don't really know how to say it.

Chae-won: Itfs Fwine!

I managed to say while chewing on my sashimi. I noticed that Jaebum was getting really nervous. He was scratching the back of his neck and was blushing real bad. Maybe i should not force him.

Chae-won: If yof dun wannaf sayf it dun sayf.

Stupid sashimi. Jaebum shook his head and said,

Jaebum: I must say it. Today.

He took a deep breath as he stared dead in my eyes. I felt my body stiffen. This was not good. Did i do something wrong? Did he hear me wrong because of the stupid sashimi?

Jaebum: Chae-won, i-i know that this would probably affect our friendship, but, i really want to tell you that i really like you.

Jaebum: Since the day we met, you were so energetic, so competitive, so good in everything...

He smiled as i choked on my sashimi quietly so he would not notice.

Jaebum: You really caught my eye. I don't really know how to explain it. Its just... your... your unique, pretty. You are not that soft and gentle like other girls but a little rough once i got to know you. You were... different.

Jaebum: Chae-won, will you please be my girlfriend?
