Change of Pace

Silver's POV

"So where are we headed?" I asked the two as we trailed them down the footway.

"Dagger has a few spots to hang out and chill... But he prefers one of the spots the most and he made that spot his top-secret base. So that's where we are headed now," Fiona said as she kept looking forward while walking.

"How do you guys understand this much about Dagger and know where his base is? Isn't he a shady individual and doesn't share anything with anyone?" Blaze who was walking next to me asked.

"He created a team and was able to convince us to join. We're not the only ones though... The fact that he is shady is partly true. It's just that the papers written about him make him seem like a really scary guy. But he really isn't that bad," Scourge told her as he stopped in front of an alley.

"What is your team name?" Tails asked them as he started walking faster and closer to me.

"We are Team Beatrix... Dagger came up with the name," Scourge answered and shrugged.

"Well, we're here," Fiona said and we all walked into the alley.

The ally smelled weird and has weird writings on the wall. There was no fire escapes around but only one single trash can. We stopped in front of it and Scourge opened it. Fiona looked down and hopped in.

"Who's going next?" He asked us and we gave him a confused look.

"Why are we going dumpster diving?" Shadow asked Scourge with a questioning face.

"Just jump in you'll see," He said as he facepalmed while holding up the trash lid.

Amy stepped forward and looked down into the trash can. Her eye widened and she slowly leaned forward and hopped in. Knuckles got worried and hopped in after her. Rouge and Shadow went together leaving Blaze, Tails, and I the last ones standing.

"Well, we don't know if we don't try," Tails said and did a running jump into the trashcan.

"Shall we Blaze?" I asked her holding out my hand for her to take.

"Alright... Let's do this! Together," Blaze said and took my hand and gave me a wide smile.

We closed our eyes and jumped into the dumpster. I soon opened my eyes to see us sliding down a tube. It was dark but I could see the figure of Blaze sliding right beside me. There was a bright light at the end of the tube.

Blaze and I went flying out of the end of the tube. We landed on something soft and fluffy. I looked down to see pillows were set out so we wouldn't get hurt. There were all kinds of colored lights flashing around.

Other Mobians were down here with us. Most of them wore normal clothes and not like the white and light blue uniforms like Scourge and Fiona. They were dancing, drinking, and talking as we walked passed.

We then came to a dark green metal door in the back. Scourge pulled out a necklace that has a key hanging from a chain. He then unlocked the door and let us walk in. 

"Welcome to Team Beatrix's base," Fiona said as we all entered a large room.

It was like a normal home inside. I noticed we were in the living room. To the right was a bathroom and to the left was the kitchen and dining room. Forward was a long hallway which I was guessing where the bedrooms were.

"Hello, Mr. Scourge and Mrs. Fiona! Nice to see that your back!" A high pitch voice said.

In the kitchen doorway was a small and very young looking rabbit. She has a light blue shirt on with snow-white jeans. The shirt had a white bubble design on it. She had a bow sitting in front of her left ear. She was wearing a happy smile and had a brown belt around her waist.
