Replacing an idol

"S-s-s-Sid and K-Kaleigh..."

Everyone looked at Mick.

"Well?"

Mick's eyes were wide.

Like, Wide.

Then someone's key was put in the lock. And Mick flew forward when it was slammed open.

In came Kaleigh, and Sid behind her.

"Hey, I gotta go pick up my kid so like, Sid's coming with me."

Mick held his head up from when he flew forward, and looked back at Kaleigh.

"What the fuck?"

"Wut?"

He shook his head.

"Nvm"

Kaleigh rolled her eyes.

And with that, her and Sid left.

*Magical timeskip to Kaleigh and her daughter 45 minutes later*

Kaleigh and Sidney stood at the gate of the school, and looked for their child.

Then Kaleigh's waist was enveloped in a small hug and she looked down at the young girl.

There she was.

Bella Wilson.
8 years old.
2nd grade.
Long black hair.
Navy Blue skirt.
White polo.
White tights.
Black 'Mary Janes'

Sid smiled and picked her up.

She giggled and hugged him, wrapping her skinny arms around his neck, putting her head down, and Kaleigh took her backpack and swung it over her shoulder.

Sid and Kaleigh held hands, and walked to Kaleigh's truck. A beautiful black Dodge Ram 4×4.

Bella jumped from his arms and ran to the car.

She opened the door and climbed in, then shut the car door.

Kaleigh chuckled and threw her backpack in the backseat with her and then got in the driver's seat, while Sid got in the passenger's seat.

Kaleigh pulled from her parking spot in front of the school and drove off, turning to the left, then hit her brake, because someone didn't stop.

Bella was reading, and Sid was on his phone.

She pulled out again, looking to the right, then to the left.

"Sidney is it clear to the right?"

No reponse.

"Sidney?"

"Siiiiiiiid?"

He looked up from his phone out of the window.

"Yeah"

She pulled forward.

And they were off.

*(wii music) 29 minutes later*

Kaleigh sped down the road, and out of nowhere, someone collided with the driver side of the vehicle.

"FUCK!"

Sid and Bella looked worriedly at her.

Her left arm and shoulder were fractured, and her  breathing was thin.

"Mommy?"

"Kaleigh?!"

Sidney shook her, "Kaleigh!"

She took her right hand and touched her arm with the broken bones.

"Fucking ow"

Sid called 911.

"Hello, what's your emergency?"

"Um, my girlfriend was just in a car accident. Someone smacked into the driver's side of the car."

"Ok, and where are you sir?"

"We're on Forest Ave."

"Ok someone is on their way. Is she conscious?"

"Yea"

"Is she breathing?"

"Um, very faintly."

"Does she have any relatives in the area? Or do you not know?"

"Uh yea, her brother Mick."

"Ok...Would you do me a favor and put me on hold while you call him?"

"Yes..." Sid replied and put the lady on hold.

He looked through his recents and tapped Mick's contact.

The phone rang, and rang.

"Hello?" Mick's voice asked from the other line.

"MICK?! MICK! KALEIGH WAS IN AN ACCIDENT AND BELLA'S PANICKING! I'M PANICKING! WE'RE ALL PANICKING!"

Mick was silent for a second.

"Where are you guys?" Mick said calmly.

"HOW ARE YOU SO CALM ABOUT THIS MOTHERFUCKER? YOU'RE SISTER IS IN A CAR ACCIDENT AND YOU'RE JUST CHILL AS FUCK?

"Um... Because I can be?"
