Replacing an idol

It's after the holidays, and everyone is back at the studio.

Y/n was practicing her drumming for more songs off of the new album.

Then Kaleigh walked in to get her phone but she was humming a song.

Y/n recognised the song and started to play it.

Jim heard this, and tapped Mick along with Sid and Chris.

Meanwhile Kaleigh starts singing.

"How, does it feel? To treat me like you do...?"

Jim started tapping his foot to the beat of the song.

"When you laid your hands upon me, and told me who you are...."

Mick started bobbing his head to the beat.

"I thought I was mistaken, I thought I heard your words..."

Y/n continued to drum to the song.

"Tell me how...do I feel... Tell me now how do I feel."

Sid tapped his fingers on the doorway.

Then Chris jumped in.

"HOW, DOES IT FEEL?! HOW SHOULD I FEEL? TELL ME HOW, DOES IT FEEL...TO TREAT ME LIKE YOU DO?!"

Everybody was jamming to the tune at this point.

Then there was a knock on the doorway and everyone stopped and looked at who it was.

"Joey?" Everyone asked as their eyes widened.

He smiled and asked if he could come in.

Jim said yes.

Joey had a bag in his hand, and he stood in the room and opened the bag.

In the bag was gifts.

"Hey uhm, sorry I didn't come sooner... I had to go out of town last minute. But here you guys go..." Joey said as he pulled out individually wrapped gift boxes.

He tossed one to Jim.

To Sid.

To Mick.

To Sid.

To Kay.

To Chris.

And he walked to Y/n and gave her one as well.

"For me?" Sid asked.

"No shit." Joey responded.

Mick opened his first.

It was a new pair of boots.

Jim next, a set of guitar picks.

Sid, he got hair dye.

Chris got a Slayer shirt.

Kaleigh opened hers and pumped her fist that wasn't holding the box in the air.

It was a purple lace choker with a diamond encrusted moon hanging in the front.

Then Y/n opened hers, and her eyes widened.

A new pair of drumsticks and a bracelet that was made up of black and gold beads.

He smiled warmly then walked out of the room.

But before he fully left, Mick stopped him by putting a hand on his shoulder.

"Bro...have you known how long I have been wanting these?"

Joey nodded.

Y/n walked up to Joey and looked him in the eye. Then she hugged him and said thank you.

"Oh yeah, you have some damn good drumming skills man. Who taught you?" He asked y/n.

"I taught myself...haha" She said and thought about her first drumset.

He smiled at her and said bye and your welcome to everybody else, then excused himself because he had somewhere to be.

"Bye Joey!" Sid yelled.

Joey waved as he walked out.
