Replacing an idol

Bella's POV (3rd)

Bella was sitting at her desk waiting for the clock to hit 2:45. She counted the last few seconds she had been counting for about 10 minutes.

57...
58...
59...

The minute hand moved to the nine and the bell rang. All of the kids stood up and went to get thier backpacks and pack their homework, then line up to go home.

However Bella already had her backpack and stuff packed. So she was the first one in line, then the teacher told them to leave and scurried out along with the children.

Bella saw a medium height girl with short dark brown hair, brown eyes, and a curvy-ish figure. There was also an EXTREMELY tall guy with pink hair next to her with earbuds in holding a 2 year old.

The lady made her way over to Bella and picked her up.

"Hey Bells...!" The girl said and spun her before putting her back down.

Bella giggled. "Hi Ruby!" She looked at the guy with the kid and earbuds in his ears who wasn't paying attention to the situation at all. "Hi Venn!"

He smiled and waved then pulled one of the earbuds out of his ears. "'Sup kid?"

"Hi October!" Bella said to the child Venn was holding.

The baby stuck her tongue out of her mouth and clapped.

"I swear you're such a weirdo" Venn told his daughter.

"So are you" Ruby reminded.

"Whatever" He huffed.

Bella asked the two where her parents were and if they knew why they were arguing.

The couple looked at eachother with unsure looks and Venn sighed.

"Your parents...had an argument...and uh....they're breaking up. So like, they aren't going to be together anymore. And also...your dad is keeping you. So you won't be able to um....see your mom again. Unless she takes legal action to keep you. Or see you at least."

Bella's heart dropped.

In her mind, she was unsure about what he meant.

But she knew that she wouldn't be able to see her mom anymore.

Soon after she processed what happened in her head, she found herself crying.

Ruby hugged her and told her it was going to be ok. Although what she said next broke Bella's heart even more.

"We won't be seeing you again after today either."

*timeskip to Ruby and Venn's house*

October was asleep and Venn was asleep as well.

Ruby made Bella a sandwich and walked into the guest bedroom where her goddaughter was.

To see her crying silently and listening to music on Venn's phone.

The song playing made Bella cry even harder.

"Hey Bells..." Ruby said and slowly made her way into the dark purple themed room.

Bella whispered a barely audible 'Hi' as she was approached by the person she wished she could be with forever.

"I made you a sandwich. If you're hungry. Kaleigh wanted me to make sure you eat befo-"

She was cut off by the doorbell.

A sluggish Venn made his way past the two in the room and walked down the stairs then to the door.

Bella got up and looked out of the doorway. Ruby did the same while she put her hands on the little girl's shoulders.

As they had a good view of the front door, they waited for Venn to open the door.

He eventually got to the door and unlocked it then opened it to be met by a pissed off Sid.

Venn groaned. "Why are you he-"

"I'm here for my kid. BELLA! COME HERE NOW"

Ruby picked Bella up and carried her downstairs then placed her down and stood in front of her in a protective way.

Sid growled and was about to push Ruby out of the way but glared daggers at Vendetta when he stopped his hand.

"Touch either of them and you're fucking dead"

"Oh really?" Sid sneered.

Vendetta was about to smash his face in when Kaleigh's voice was heard from behind Sid and she called Bella's name.

Bella gasped and ran to her mom but was stopped by Sid and Kaleigh walked up to him, boots crunching in the snow that was starting to fall and landed on her eyelashes.

"Let her go or else this will be your last day on this earth Sidney."

He chuckled, obviously amused at her attempt at seriousness.

Which might I add, was not an attempt. She was dead serious.

"You're serious?"

"As a heart attack. Now, Let. Her. Go."

He thought about it and then didn't let go.

"I swear to God you fucking mistake let my kid go before I rip your face off"

Bella whimpered at the tension.

Vendetta stood leaning against the doorway with fury radiating off of him.

Ruby was standing there with her arms crossed.

Sid was holding Bella by her hair and was smirking.

Kaleigh had her hands in fists at her sides, about to rip Sid in half.

"Well I guess since you aren't doing anything, I'll take my kid now." Sid spoke and started dragging Bella to his car.

That's when all hell broke loose.
