"That sounds like a good idea," Bailey cut in and sat down in her chair next to me again and Josh took the seat beside her.

Liam raised from his spot on the table and people quieted down instantly. "I'll make this short so we can start eating. Thank you, everyone, for attending this celebration. I hope you all have a lovely time and are free to leave whenever or even go party outside in the gardens if you like. Just make sure to clean up after yourselves, please. There's plenty of food here for everyone of all types. Eat as much as you like, it's all along the walls. Now let's eat!"

People clapped and started moving away from their seats and started getting in many different lines for food. I moved to go get in a line but Liam grabbed my wrist and said, "we don't have to get in a line here. They'll bring it out to us."

As if on cue a bunch of food was placed in the middle of the tabled buffet style and those waiters then disappeared to join the celebration as well. I slowly stared at the food while my stomach rumbled. I unconsciously licked my lips and I heard Liam laugh as I started piling my plate with food.

My stomach honestly took over my actions for a little bit as I ate everything. It didn't really start to drop until I became a bit more satisfied with food.

Finally, I turned to Josh and I asked, "so, how long have you been here?"

"About half a year now," he answered. "It's really nice here, I like it much better than I do earth."

I understood instantly why he liked it better because of everyone else as well, here they could be who they were and not hide or worry. Of course, there were many other reasons as well but those were the main ones.

"Yeah, it is really nice here. Do you do anything here?" I felt like an interrogator at this point even if I hadn't asked many questions.

He nodded, "yeah, I help gather material to use to build new buildings since you can only make things out of what already exists instead of for example making something appear out of nowhere. That's what I originally thought what happened when I first came here but I soon learned that wasn't how it was."

I nodded thoughtfully, "that's what I had thought as well but it was nice to learn something new with limitations on magic.

"So I'm guessing you're going to be Bailey's date to my ceremony then?" I asked.

How are you feeling? Liam asked.

I glanced over at him and didn't hear Josh's reply. Fine. Why?

Not feeling any symptoms? No pain in the stomach or feeling overheated?

No.

Perfect. He grinned mischievously at that and I became highly confused but decided to just ignore his odd behavior and roll my eyes. I turned back to Josh, "sorry. Could you say that again?"

"Of course he's my date silly," Bailey chuckled. "I wouldn't take anyone else you know. Besides you of course but you're already busy and have a date."

I laughed and turned to Liam who placed a hand on my leg and I smiled. "Of course."

His thumb rubbed small circles on my leg as we continued to eat and I didn't mind it. It was nice.

Mia decided to pop in then, "so I know we were going to go shopping in a few days but I now think we should do it tomorrow so it can be ready for sure by the ceremony. What do you think?" She looked at me waiting for an answer.

Liam moved his hand under the hem of my dress and I thought nothing of it considering the end of my dress was at my knees. He continued to rub circles in the middle of my thigh. I turned to Bailey before answering Mia's question. "That reminds me. Would you like to be my maid of honor, or what is equivalent to that at least?"
