Okay. I need to say this before the last chapter goes out on Sunday. Because I am genuinely worried about the next book, and I do want to make sure you all understand what you've let yourself in for.

Anyone who does not remember the warnings - look now. The ending of this book leads directly onto the next, and due to the way the plot works you'd be essentially forced into reading the next book to find out how the situation resolves. You'll see what I mean on Sunday.

I know some of you may be reading because you're loyal readers. And that is much appreciated. But I don't want to actually hurt you.

To give you an idea of how this gets I will explain something. None of my other books, during the writing stages, have ever got any tears out of me. Later on in this series, I was writing a chapter and the way it turned out caused me to be a crying mess for about half an hour. So I am not kidding around when I say that it's not light hearted.

This is quite possibly the most angsty I have ever got. And you need to realise that if you don't think you can handle something it's not a weakness. You are perfectly allowed and within your rights to duck out here. Because this gets tense and I do not want anyone feeling forced into reading it just to find out what happens.

If you decide not to read it and still wanna know what happens, just pm me. And I will tell you. I don't want to hurt you guys. You're part of my motivation to be a creator and a writer. I genuinely don't know if I would still be writing like this without you.

Please don't be offended by this either. I am not insulting you. I am giving you fair warning to yeet out of here if you think that it will hurt you.

Because I don't want that. To put it bluntly, I would hate that just as much as you would.

I hate doing authors notes. I really hate it. They mess up the flow of the story, they take away from the plot. They make the writer seem like they feel more important than what's happening in the actual story. But I need to get this across and I cannot stress how vital it is that you check those warnings enough.

Please. Do it. Even if it's a pointless thing as none of the issues bother you that much. Please just take one more look, just in case.

I don't want to throw an age limit out there, but just use your common sense. If you're young and you feel like you will be affected more due to that, maybe wait a while and then read it.

And as well as this, I don't want anyone to think I'm not taking the issues I discuss seriously. I am. I won't get things right. I haven't experienced everything. But I am doing my best. And if I'm wrong, then tell me so I can make it right.

My work is about opening doors and showing you what life is like for others, as well as the whole 'entertainment out of reading a story' thing. I want you to come out of this without being scarred or hurt by it. But I also want to broaden your thinking.

And my own, if that's not too selfish.

Having said that, I am well aware that you have your own free will and experiences. So if some of the warnings seem a little odd to you, as they don't seem like things that would affect people in a negative way, that's okay. I don't know every trigger for every person. If I'm missing some, I need to know.

Do not question other people's vulnerabilities because everyone has their own reason for it. That's basically what I mean. They cannot control what they are sensitive about.

Or something like that.

Hopefully I haven't scared everyone off! There are positive parts, I just get very worried about things like this. I hope you can forgive me for that. Of course the point of certain parts is to cause emotion and connection to the plot. I don't expect you to be robots. That's not what I mean.

I just want to make sure that I don't cause a long term negative effect for anyone.

I know I talk a lot like I'm speaking to a group so it probably feels really impersonal but I do honestly care. And I will try to help, if I'm in the right mind space to do so.

So update on Sunday. And an hour after the update will be the beginning of the new book.
