Aftermath

PETERS POV

"You're here, how?" I back up out the hug suddenly realizing this can't be true. She laughed and backed away, with a gesture of her hand she had blue lights circle around her. When the lights were gone she was a completely different person. No longer Aunt May.

"Who are you?" I kept my distance, still trying to figure out who she is. She had raven black hair, blue eyes and was in a black and blue suit. "Well that's easy, I'm Aurora" she smiled and took a step forward. I stayed where I was, she doesn't seem like she wants to fight but I could be wrong. "What do you want from me?" My voice cracked as I asked. "Well, that's easy, to watch your world crash and burn" She smiled and before I could do anything she disappeared. I sighed and headed home, so much for an easy patrol.

A YEAR LATER

Graduation had come around. Tony had insisted we go to the actual ceremony rather than just getting it online. Ironically my graduation day was also my birthday and I'm not sure if anyone really knows. I was getting ready when Pepper knocked and came in. "Hey honey, how are you doing?" She smiled walking over and fixing my cap. "Kind of nervous, its a big day." I sighed but smiled at her. "You'll do great kiddo, you have me, your dad, sister, and Mj." She smiled and put her hand on my shoulder "Besides, It is your birthday. You have that to look forward to." She whispered and smirked as she walked away. "I-uh" I laughed at myself but she was already out of the room.

After a long ceremony (just to get a stupid paper) we went to lunch. "So Kait, I have a surprise for you." Tony smirked. I raised my eyebrow, confused. I wrapped my arm around Mj who was sitting on my lap, twirling my hair. "What is it?" she asked confused and I kinda just smiled to myself. "You're officially adopted." Tony beamed, looking at Pepper, me then to Kait, who almost spit out her drink. "What?" she asked surprised. "Jeez dad, you can't just go around adopting everyone." I teased but nudged in the shoulder. "Congrats," Mj and I said at the same time, I looked up at her and she leaned down to kiss my cheek. "Uh, t-thank you Tony." she smiled softly and we went back to eating.

We got home and MJ stayed over wanting to watch a movie and hang out. "Peter Parker!" Tony yelled from the lab. I looked at MJ tilting my head in confusion. I got up and jumped over the couch. Mj followed me down holding my hand. The lab was dark, it didn't look like anyone was in here. "Uh F.R.I.D.A.Y?" I called out confused, lights came on, a horn blasted and Tony, Ned, Kait, and Pepper were in front of me yelling surprise. "Happy Birthday Kid!" Tony yelled smiling. "Ned!" I called out and ran into his arms smiling. "Missed your guy in the chair?" Ned teased. "Just a little" I smile and back out of the hug. "What-how-you?" I stuttered, pointing to Tony. "Its always me, I'm just amazing like that" Tony smiled his cocky I'm amazing smile and I laughed.

"So Ned how long are you here for?" I asked as I wrapped my arm around MJ. "All week dude" he smiled. "Awesome" MJ replied snuggling into me. "I have another thing for you kid." Tony smirked and walked over to his desk, grabbing a wrapped present. He walked back over to me and handed it to me. "What's this?" I asked, shaking it. "You'll have to open it to find out." Tony smiled and nodded. "Open it already" Kait teased, "I'm doing it, I'm doing it." I laughed and started ripping off bits of wrapping paper. When I saw what it is I almost dropped it, thankfully MJ caught it. "Don't be clumsy, Parker." Mj laughed and smiled softly when she saw it. "Peter Parker Stark?" I got out in between trembling breaths. "Yes, is that okay?" Tony looked at me confused and I ran over, throwing my arms around him. "Thank you!" this is awesome." I smiled brightly, its just a stupid piece of paper but it meant so much.

We all sat on the couch watching Starwars, probably for like the millionth time. Mj got up and nodded her head to go upstairs. I looked up at her confused and she just nodded. She pulled my wrists leading me up to the roof. "What are we doing up here?" I asked wrapping my arms around her. "Well you see there is one special person who hasn't given you your present yet." she smirked and wrapped her arms around my neck, "And whats that present?" I asked smiling. "Me " she smiled before kissing me, I pulled away, breathless and confused. "What do you mean by you?" I questioned, she reached into her pocket and pulled out a box. "Is that what I think it is?" my chest got tight but I smiled through it. "Now I know this isn't how it's normally done. But in the past few years you've made me happier than I ever thought I could be. I've been in love with you since we were little and I'm still in love with you to this day. Peter Benjamin Parker-Stark will you marry me?" MJ smiled shyly, moving a section of her hair behind her ears. I stood there speechless.
