So as it turns out I'm a super light sleeper. I found out this morning when a guard barged in. Scratch that. They snuck in and tried to kill me in my sleep. And I kinda just reacted in that moment. I had them pinned and a blade to their throat before I even had time to understand what was happening. Sitting in top of them I could tell they were well trained. Their body made mostly of muscle and yet the take down was so easy. When the moment had fully caught up with me, and my mind had cleared enough to let me think, I quickly got off them and backed up to the wall dropping the knife. I could feel fear and anger radiating from them. "You don't even consider me worthy of being killed is that it?" She spat out. I was shoced. Her vice was anger mixed with personal hate. She stood up facing me. Her body was shaking with each breath. She was crying. Crying because she thought she was going to die. Crying because she hates me. Crying because she's mad at herself. The mixture of emotions left me in confusion. Mostly from not understanding how she could feel as she did. But part of it was my ability to pick it all out. "Well?" She shouted. "Are you going to tell me why you the most feared assassin in the world chose not to kill me? Is it because I'm a girl?" I shook myself out of my initial shock. "To be honest." I started, my voice sounding off. It was dry and cracked. "Im not really sure who I even am." We stood there for a few moments. Her voice came out dumbfounded. "What do you mean you don't know who you are?" I thought for a moment also unsure of how to answer. "I don't know. I woke up in a small stone room, the jail I assume, and that's about as far back as my memory goes." She screeched in anger and punched the wall. I heard the wood crack. "It's not worth it if you can't even remember what you did." The guards who were stationed outside my room finally came in to see the what's with all the commotion. "Lady Angelina." One guy said. My attacker, Angelina turned on them. "I want him shackled at all times, also get our best wizard working on him, he seems to have lost his memory, I'll report this to the queen myself." She yelled. Then stormed off. I sat down on the bed not sure what to do with myself. The guards were all shocked. But I'm not sure what at. They all walked out forgetting that they were told to shackle me. I sat waiting for something else to happen and yet nothing did.
