Salvete everyone!

OH MY GOD 15K READS THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH I LOVE YOU WITH THE BURNING INTENSITY OF A THOUSAND SUNS IN WHICH THE DOCTOR IS BURNING UP TO SAY GOODBYE TO HIS ROSE.

So yeah. This chapter coincides with like five other chappies in this fanfic. It goes back to Meredith's and Denise's party, so if you need to reread some chapters to refresh your memory, they are chapters 15 and 2.7. This party for me is sort of pivotal because it's everybody really meeting everybody and all of their problems and issues becoming one. For the new Starkid sequel that I will write, it will be more of a sense of community for those issues coming together, but, as I said before, Brian Rosenthal will have his own part in his own POV, and the plot that goes with him will be sorta disconnected like everything before this party was.

I hope you enjoy and I really hope this ties up all loose ends that you may have!

CHAPTER 3.15; DYLAN'S POV:

Noah was shitfaced, and right now, I wanted to join him. Avoiding the rest of the party while we sat in Meredith and Denise's kitchen, he downed the entire beer in his hands. Eli had already told me it was because it was the anniversary of their father's death and I honestly had not lost anyone as close to me as that, but I felt as if he was being a little melodramatic at the moment. I mean, yeah, it was sad, but it was over fifteen years. Chill out man, you've had time to cope.

Noah gasped for air next to me. "I don't even know why I'm here right now, honestly."

"It isn't because of my gorgeous eyes and sweet love handles?" I asked, wanting to at least crack a smile out of Noah, but he remained sullen as he popped a can on yet another beer.

"Jaime Lyn dragged me against my will, that's why," he continued as if he were talking to himself. I felt a pang of confusion. No one called Jaime by her full name, so why did he?

"Well, maybe if you stopped the pity party and actually socialized with people, you wouldn't be a sunken prune. That's why they call it a party."

"Noah is not ready for a party tonight," he said as he refused to face me. Oh well, I thought, I know a lost cause when I see one. If he wanted to be the Debbie Downer tonight, then go right ahead.

I, on the other hand, was actually feeling back to normal. I mean, as normal as I ever get, but I wasn't sulking anymore. Sure, Lauren and Brian had been dating for about a month or something now and I heard it was going well, but I had gotten to the point where I was almost completely over her. I haven't seen or talked to her, but maybe the seclusion was best for me and for her. It was like our friendship and relationship and almost relationship was almost a vivid dream that I barely even think about anymore.

I turned on my heels, ready to leave Noah by himself when I ran into Jaime at the door. Her eyes darted from me to Noah back to me. Was there really something going on between them? He always would talk about how they became friends, but maybe he had a bit more than friendship on his mind...

"Going to grab a beer?" I asked smoothly, unable to contain a smile. Jaime blushed.

"Uh, yeah, is that alright?" she maintained her innocence.

"Yeah, perfectly fine." I took a step to her side, then whispered in her ear, "He could use a wild and crazy night." Jaime looked at me, almost shocked, as I did a little shimmy and walked away. I could almost hear the fuck you in my wake from her stare. I didn't care though, I just wanted Noah to not feel like a walking sympathy card for once this week.
