Before you-know-who (Tom Riddle x reader)

" shut up! All of your questions will be answered if you just listen!" Voldemort hissed.

"Alright carry on" the worker said with fear in his voice. The dark lord might be trapped behind a cage but he was still scary.

Flashback:

"Protect me! Why would i need protecting?!"
Y/n shouted at the brown haired boy sat before her.
"and plus why would you care wether or not i got hurt?! We haven't spoken in like seven years!".

"Listen i just have been caught up in all of my school stuff to care about anyone else alright. And listen i need to kill people to make these horc-" "i know how they work! But why tom!".

" look i know how people can be in this world! And i want to make people pay for all the things they did to me and you! Look i care about you y/n and it would hurt me if anything hurt you alright!". They were words that neither Y/n nor Tom had expected to come out of his mouth.

He cared about her. That was a first. But Tom couldn't love. People had no use to him. He would use them and then give them up like they were nothing.

"What do you mean you care about me Tom! You can't love!" Y/n stated. She was very confused as to what was happening right now.

"I know but i just felt guilty about sending you to the hospital wing! It just had me thinking that maybe the curse was broken! It is possible!" Tom pleaded. He now fully believed that the curse could had been broken or could be broken.

"Listen y/n, all those years in the orphanage we only had each other. It would be mad to say that we didn't care for each other even if i can't love!" Tom explained. Now that y/n thought about it, she did still like tom. They only had each other in the orphanage and just because Tom couldn't love doesn't mean he couldn't like people. Was y/n the one person that Tom liked.

Y/n didn't know what happened but she suddenly felt an urge to join Tom in his quest to build the horcruxes. Maybe not uses the power of the horcruxes for evil just for power and Control. She could get revenge on all the muggles that were ever horrible to her and Tom.

"Listen Tom i want to join you"

Tom was more than happy to let y/n join him on his mission to be immortal. The only person he ever cared for wanted to join him to be immortal. They could be together ruling the world.
