Before you-know-who (Tom Riddle x reader)

Tom sat in the leather arm chair with the light of the fire shining on his face. A large snake slithered its way around the back of the chair and rested her head on the shoulder of Tom.

Tom had changed. He had changed in a bad way. He had a change in plan. He was to become the greatest wizard that was ever to roam this world. His name would one day be feared to speak. He would avenge y/n that was now known as Nagini. Lord Voldemort was back.

Months had past since y/n had transformed into Nagini. Tom had grown pail and seemed to have lost his charm. His once dark eyes had changed into fiery red ones.

He would hold a meeting with his followers, now known as death eaters, once a week.

Nothing stood in his path. Or if it did it was certainly out of the way. He had made y/n a new horcrux so that he wouldn't loose her for good and not just replaced with a giant snake.

Were as y/n was not liking becoming a snake. She couldn't Communicate with anyone Except from tom seeming as he was a parseltongue. She hadn't left tom's side for weeks, months and she missed her own independence.

And tonight he was planning on killing a one year old boy, his mother and father.

Tom stood outside a small cottage in Godrick's hollow. With a wave of his wand the metal gate swung open and crashed into the brick wall. He walked in with Nagini right behind him.

He killed the man first. All with one word. Well two words really.  "Avada kedarva!"

Those words were heard yet again.

The woman was next. The baby boy in her arms. She died for her son. Out of love. A thing that tom could never feel. A thing that tom could never experience. The reason why Tom was doing all of this was because of that one reason. Tom only cared for one person. And right now that person was a giant snake.

The worst bit of all of it for y/n, was that she was just sitting there. Not doing anything. Not stopping Tom from taking people's lives. Tom had promised he wouldn't do it and he had broken that promise.

Its not that she didn't want to help. She really did. It was just that she physically couldn't. Its hard to do things when your stuck in a snakes body. And you don't have any control over your movements.

Then last the baby boy. Except The dark lord couldn't finish him of.

Some thought he died. Others think he is still out there, to weak to carry on.

But y/n new the truth. And she knew for a fact that one day he would be back.

Flashback ended:

"I don't know why I didn't See it coming" tears built up in Tom's eyes as he glared at the stone cold floor.
It was his fault that y/n, or Nagini, was alone in the world for all those years, after he visited the potters house. They only Reunited again in the year of the triwizard tournament fourth year.
