*Y/n POV

"Y/n!!!!!!!!! Woaaahhhh!!!!" again, with the loud ear-piercing scream approached me. He was like a walking mouth that anyone could ever imagine. I sighed, faced him and waved softly. He jumped up and was about to pound me with his arms widespread preparing to give an embrace. Y/n wanted to retreat, but he was a couple of milliseconds away until a wind swished beside her as my short silver haired brother flipped into the air and then landing two meters away from you.

"You're really planning to pound on someone who was nearly sandwiched by rocks? Shame on you." The familiar platonic voice caught your attention as you looked at Yuno who was approaching. "Congratulations on your new squad." He said sincerely.

"Sheesh you Yuno, you handsome devil." Asta held the back of his head while pouting. It was then that he's gotten over and turned to you full of excitement. "Y/n, that was amazing! You got all the squad's hands raised on you!!!! That was just amazing!!!"

"By the way, little girl?" a silver haired black bull girl called from behind my brother. She was glaring at me with her hands crossed between her chest. "Why didn't you choose the Golden Dawn? You could've easily entered that elite squad." She asked.

The crowd of Yuno and Asta's team looked at me with wonder after she asked. "Yeah, really. Golden Dawn is really the best squad. And Yuno can assist you. Just why?" the orange haired girl from the golden dawn asked.

"Well..." I scratched the back of my head and awkwardly laughed. "The Crimson Lion doesn't seem bad too. I just felt that I like it."

"You're odd, y/n. But don't worry! The squad leader was so cool despite losing an arm!" My brother Asta bantered and I looked at him a bit embarrassed.

"Well, at least we all know you were really strong." Yuno patted my head gently, almost as if he was caressing it as it ran through the strands of your hair I blushed, feeling the tingling feeling on my stomach while I stared at him.

The little spirit started flying around him. "Yuno!!!!! Don't touch her!" she screamed, pulling a skin from his cheeks as he lost all the smile he just had earlier. "Stop ignoring me!!!!" she squealed irritated.

"You're really great... than that short one there." He said, waving his hands aside to make bell let him go and he successfully did.

Asta snapped from what Yuno said, his face popping out with veins as he glared at him. "What the hell was than about, you, handsome devil?" he remarked at the latter with his nose upward staring up at the tall one.

"Nothing." Yuno looked away. "I forgot that I was tall that it won't even reach you down there." He muttered. I bet my lower lip to help myself from stopping the outburst of laugh.

"Oh yeah? Just you wait, Yuno! I'll be even taller than you!" He tiptoed up while hands on his waist while Yuno childishly followed with that smug smile he's got to mock my brother. "Oh, can you?" Yuno asked while they challengingly looked at each other. I covered my mouth and giggled.

"Lay low now guys." I told them as their squad mates shook their heads as if saying 'there they go again' faces.

"It's nice to see you again little Rasta!" Another energetic voice spoke behind. We all turned towards the person who spoke and I noticed as he wore the crimson lion's robe.

"Oh, Leo!" Asta acknowledged as they exchanged smiled.

"So you're with our new little recruit over there!" He said, noticing me as he gave a pat on my head. "You did well little newbie. After having a chance to the golden dawns you still preferred our squad. I, Leopold Vermillion is honored to be your mentor." He beamed widely at me with a really strong sense of action in his character, just like how I see my brother.

I bowed for respect. "Yes sir. Please teach me how to become an effective magic knight!" I replied in determination.

He laughed, hands on his waist as he raised one fist in front of me. "Yes, yes, little angel! I will mentor you the best way possible!" he assured and I felt at ease that he doesn't really looked like a mean guy.

"Thank you, sir."

"You better take care of my little Y/n, Leo!" Asta said.

"Your little Y/n?!" Both the silver haired girl from the black bulls and the ginger girl on the golden dawn asked surprised. "Asta, what's your relationship with her?" the silver girl asked.

Asta snapped. "Ah! I forgot to introduce Y/n to you guys, didn't I?" He laughed. "Y/n, these are my friends, the silver haired one is Noelle, this orange haired one is Mimosa, my mentor Magna, and Yuno's mentor four-eyes!"

"Ahem!" The glasses guy cleared his throat. "It's Claus." He cleared.

"And guys, this is Y/n. My little sister, Y/n."

"S-sister?!!!!" Noelle and Mimosa chorused in shock.

"What? Y/n is so nice and quiet... what made you sure she is your sister?!" Noelle now asked. "And to be honestly obvious, she has a really powerful magic, unlike you."

That last sentence struck me. My heart felt pricked and when Asta looked at me, he already noticed how it upset me. It was painfully obvious about Noelle's question. "Well, a year after we were left in the church, y/n was sent outside the door. A letter was with her saying 'take good care of your little sister, Asta.' So we were quite sure that Y/n was my sister." He explained. "I mean, even if we aren't blood related, we're still family! Right, Yuno!"

He turned to Yuno who suddenly blushed from what he blurted. "Stupid, don't go saying that in public places." He said looking away.

I giggled, trying to shrug away my thought from Noelle's taunt earlier. I simply held on to my grimoire tightly as they chatted over some time. It was until Leopold finally kept the time on his tracks and looked at me realizing that he had a responsibility to take care of. "Oh! I need to take little new recruit here to our head-quarters! She needs to meet everyone in the squad after all." He said.

"Oh yeah!" Asta said. "Have fun Y/n! Make sure to right your news to the church okay! I'm sure father will be very proud of you." He reminded.

"I will. I promise father in condition that I'm allowed to join the magic knights!" I said.

"Well, off we go then!" Leopold waved a hand at them as he began to walk away. I followed as we trailed off the group.
