What was this feeling...?

It was as if....

It's as if I'm floating.....

I don't know where I am...

I don't remember what happened. Everything is so fuzzy.

I don't remember how I got here..... what here is.....

The last thing I remember seeing was a giant crystal and then......

Darkness.

It was as if I was blinded.

I feel like I'm floating.....

Am I dead...?

No.

I can't be.

I can feel something.

I'm surrounded by some sort of liquid, though I'm not sure what it is. It feels like jello but when I move my fingers it's like water but the moment I stop it's solid again. I can't open my eyes. I'm too tired. My eyes feel like lead. I'll just go back to sleep......

I wouldn't do that if I were you.... you might not wake up.

There was a voice.....

I know I heard it.....

Who was that? Am I going insane? Surely it's simply my imagination.

Right...?

~= P.O.V. shift =~

Everything had happened in a flash and at this point it was a blur.

The Galra struck unexpectedly. They invaded the castle of lions and completely took the Team by storm. They were simply outnumbered and quite frankly, entirely unprepared for the shock of how unprepared they had been. Team voltron didn't see it coming. Although, you hardly ever do see it coming when danger arrives, huh?

They seemed to had been searching for something but whether they found it, we were unsure. As the onslaught continued that day, everything just stopped. The sudden pause was like a shockwave throughout the castleship, both sides stopping completely, frozen in their places as a bright light engulfed the halls of the castle, it's sudden rays blinding even the fighters outside of the surrounded ship when it's sheer brilliance erupted through even the furthest windows and when the light had finally subsided confusions was left in it's wake as even the invading galran forces stopped in confusion and retreated.

It wasn't until after everything had settled down and every one recovered from the initial shock, the Team had regrouped before taking their leave of one another to do what they had been doing prior to the attack, that was their first mistake. A shriek from both the yellow and blue paladins alerting the others as everyone raced to their location to discover the reason for alarm as the paladins and alteans skidded to a stop at the door in which the commander was residing in prior to the attack seeing as that is where the combined shriek had happened to be originated from.

As the paladins slowed to look at the scene before them, they too began to look on in confusion.

The clear blue gel that had encased and healed the commander all this time was now splattered into the hallway in front of the door, the blue and yellow paladins stood frozen in place as they looked at the scene before them, the others soon joining them to see exactly why they were in shock.

The place where the female had once lay was nothing more than a outline of the place the gel had once encased her on the podium, the gel now splattered all over the room as if something had exploded from within it. But the most bazaar thing about the whole situation was not the fact that the substance was everywhere but rather the fact that the human was nowhere to be seen. No body or blood, only a strange, seemingly glowing symbol in the midst of the wreckage, floating above the cryogenic like platform before it faded away. It's blue light sending ripple like waves from the spot the commander once was, it's light seeming to once spin as it had settled before fading.

The commander was gone.
