? Rants and Other Things ?

Just to warn you ahead of time, my parents are taking care of this right now and I will definitally not show any pictures.

For those who don't know, I'm very strict when it comes to animal rights and everything. I mean, I adopted a chinchilla, which is an endangered animal that is currently being hunted for their pelts due to them being the softest animal alive. (They're also pretty cute.) So, I take animals lives very seriously.

For the past few weeks there has been a raccoon in my neighborhood. He's been sleeping under my dad's truck (we really don't mind since he's not harming anyone and he leaves to find food by the time my dad leaves for work). No one else seemed to be bothered by him since no one has called animal control for the raccoon to be rehomed.

But 2019 just started and my neighbor aparently fucking shot the poor guy with an arrow because it was in garage two days ago.

I'm sorry but don't keep your garage open, then. If you're in there, then scare it out with a broom or something. Don't fucking shoot it. That's ungodly and the poor guy didn't know any better. He was just looking for food.

But that's not the end of the story, everyone. The poor little raccoon is still alive, wandering and limping around in my backyard, arrow fully through him.

Like I said earlier, my parents and my neighbor, that is at fault, are calling every place they know that could help this little guy try to survive right now.

To say, don't shoot any random or wild animals you see in your neighborhood. If it's bothering you, call around for an animal control to help rehome the animal. It's their job to do so. Don't try and take care of the problem yourself. Only time you should is if it's a lost animal, then please take it in to a vet for its owner to be tracked down. Please be humane and kind with other living creatures that roam this planet.
