So I'm currently making a sketchbook/speedpaints story time. I already drew the picture (It's a merman) and I need a script for when I talk in the video. If there's anything you guys think I should change about it, tell me.

This is my script. It's about my middle school art teacher. Soon as I'm done with the video, I'll post a link or something for you guys to watch it.

---------

Before anyone complains, I know my last video was posted well over a year ago. Here's your video for the year. It's a little story time/speedpaint thing. I've seen it around a lot lately so I'm going to do one too.

Now, me being an art kid, you'd think my favorite class in school would be related to art, right? Wrong. I absolutely hate art class. Not because of the projects or anything, but because of the teachers I had. The worst art teacher I had was in 8th grade middle school, who I'll call Mrs. K. In that class, I had my best friend at the time, who I'll call Lilly. Keep note of her because she is important.

Lilly had art for all of middle school. 6th to 8th grade. I only had it our last year and had no reason to go into that class, so on that first day, that was the first time I have ever met her. The first time she called my name, I corrected her thst my name is Chris. Needless to say, she never called me Chris. No matter how many times I corrected her. I don't really mind, it's just something that ticked me off a bit.

The thing that made me livid was the fact that for some unexplainable reason, thought I was responsible for Lilly's every. Single. Action. If she didn't do a drawing correctly, she would talk to me about it and not Lilly. If Lilly wasn't paying attention or wasn't done with her work or anything, she would tell me about it, not Lilly. Whatsoever. For some reason in Mrs. K's mind, she thought I was Lilly's caretaker, even though she is perfectly fine taking care of herself. If she did something wrong, tell her about it. Not me.

I've told her several times about this and she would either nod or respond with "Well, she's your friend, isn't she?" Yes, she's my friend but I do not hold responsibility for any of her actions. Lilly even tried talking about this to Mrs. K. And her parents!

When would I tell her about this? In the morning, when I was painting a cello. Yes, I forgot to add... Mrs. K made me paint a cello before and after school. When I wasn't there in the morning, she would hunt me down and tell me that I needed to go into the art room and work on it.

She made me not only paint it before and after school, she made me paint it during school. Yes! She would pull me out of class, no matter if she had a class or not or if I had a test or not, she would make me go down there and work on it.

Now, since I was working on it literally every day, I brought my own paint brushes and kept them in the spare room in the back where I worked. I told Mrs K not to let ANYONE use them. I specifically described to her not to let a single soul touch the pink pencil box that was covered with Batman duct tape. I had very expensive and cheap brushes in there. Mostly single brushes since I was doing a galaxy.

I didn't show up for a day since I was sick. The next day, I looked in my box and every single brush was destroyed. None of them were cleaned, chunks of paint were still left on them, one was even snapped in half. I confronted Mrs K about it and she said she aparently let some other girls who was painting a violin use them for the day. She said she would replace all of them. She never did.

Also, little side note, I had to restart it all thst same day. Aparently one of the girls who used my brushes got bored from working on the violin so Mrs. K let her work on my cello. She ruined everything about it. There was a large green streak across my beautiful nebula I spent two weeks on.

I worked on that cello until literally the last day of school. She kept me in there for the entire day. The only time she let me leave was for me to take my AP English test for me to get into AP English next year. You're supposed to get 2 hours on that test. I barely got 25 minutes.

Of course, she has done a bunch to tick me off as much as she did. But the number one thing this lady did was when she put my cello up for display, the art teacher that I would have the next year in 9th grade was looking at it. From her, she told me a little story. Aparently, my future teacher was complementing my work and Mrs K all had to tell her was "too bad it's not done".

H U H.

I know there's like a saying thst not artworks are completed and everything but I was done. I was for sure. All I did the last month, especially the last day, was fixing little spots and crevices. I was for sure done.

Just to say, I felt like a prisoner in her class.
