? Rants and Other Things ?

For those who dont know, not too long ago I got accepted to be a game moderator.

I was on one of the games this morning, working on my own thing. I was the only staff online. Now as staff, if someone is banned, in chat itll say they're attempting to join.

About two of those alerts showed up and I didnt think much of it since those show up all the time... then three showed up... then seven. At that moment, I knew it was bots trying to get on. Since they werent in the game I was on, I hopped onto a different game that had been having a lot of bot attacks recently and the moment I hopped on, I got spammed by bot alerts.

Since I was the only staff member on, I ended up having to contact the other staff on our discord.

No one showed up.

I am only a trainee meaning I'm still learning. I dont have the ability to ban a certain IP adress. Luckily the coded console IP banned whoever I banned and I've been practicing copying usernames very fast especially during bot attacks.

It took me 10 minutes to take care of it alone but I still did it nonetheless. <o/

Sometimes when it comes to things that usually require 3+ staff members, you have to take care of yourself.
