Jisoo knocked on Irene's apartment door and it opened quickly, a smiling Irene behind it.

"Jisoo!"

She walked into the apartment and noticed everyone else was already there.

"Seulgi invited Chaeyoung and Minji, I hope you don't mind."

Jisoo shook her head, "Not at all."

Minji looked over, "Hi, Jisoo!"

"Hey, kiddo."

Irene looked at Jisoo, surprised. "Well, she seems to like you. I thought you only met Chaeyoung?"

Jisoo shook her head, "I met Minji the other day, at the book exchange and sorted things out with Chaeyoung. Minji was going to a sleepover so Chaeyoung and I had dinner, she's actually pretty awesome. And Minji's a sweet kid."

Irene smiled widely. "It's so weird that you and Chaeyoung met each other, and it turned out I knew her too."

Jisoo nodded, taking off her jacket and giving it to Irene. "Chaeyoung actually told me she'd been invited before you did."

"I'm sorry I didn't text to tell you" apologised Irene, as she hung Jisoo's jacket on the coat rack.

Jisoo shrugged, before walking further into the apartment, to the couches where everyone was gathered.

"Hi, Seulgi. Chaeyoung."

"Hi. How are you, Jisoo?" asked Seulgi.

"I'm doing okay."

"Hi, Jisoo " said Chaeyoung.

"Hey, Chaeyoung."

"How do you guys know each other? Chaeyoung said you'd met at the book exchange?" Seulgi enquired.

Jisoo nodded, "Yep."

Seulgi nodded, frowning at the lack of information, though that was nothing new where Jisoo was concerned.

"It's a smaller city than you'd think, huh?" commented Seulgi.

Jisoo nodded. "What movie are we watching?"

"Minji chose the movie, actually" stated Irene.

"When?" asked Jisoo, looking back at Irene as she walked towards them.

"When she arrived. We had a selection of movies and she chose one and basically demanded we watch it."

Jisoo looked at Minji, who smiled innocently.

"What did she choose?" asked Jisoo.

"Charlie and the chocolate factory" replied Lisa.

"No" stated Jisoo, still looking at Minji.

"Why not?" asked Minji.

"You need to read the book first. You can't cheat. Remember that quote, about kids watching too much TV? You gotta read the book first, Minji, trust me."

"Where do you get off telling my daughter what she can and can't do?" interrupted Chaeyoung, crossing her arms.

Jisoo's eyes widened in surprise and she looked at Chaeyoung, who had a hint of a smile, which only grew when she noticed the reaction it had got.

"I guess I deserve that" replied Jisoo with a smirk, while Irene and Seulgi looked on, unsure about what was happening.

Chaeyoung uncrossed her arms. "But I have to agree. Ji, you really should read the book first."

Minji frowned, "But that's not fair, Mom."

"Sorry baby, maybe you could choose another, and we can watch Charlie and the chocolate factory once you've read the book?"
