8th Member (BTS)

(This is a story where Hitman Bang is out of the country for a little while so there is a replacement who is taking his place for a short time, this is only for this short story series)

The eight had been called into the co-manager's office, Kim Jaehyun. He was the polar opposite of Hitman Bang, he made sure Mae wasn't included in so many activities and the boys wanted to speak up but were threatened by Jaehyun (Mae doesn't know this). Walking into the office, they sat down and waited patiently to hear what Jaehyun was going to annouce to them.

A few minutes later, he appeared with another female next to him, "Hello Bangtan, today I am going to introduce you to your newest member Kim Jaeun, please treat her respectfully and make sure she is welcomed to the group. She is the vocalist, dancer, and sub-rapper."

"But Jaehyun, those are Mae's posit-" Yoongi started.

"Dismissed, please show her the choreography for the newest debut, I'll be by later to make sure that she's where she needs to be and is given what she deserves." Jaehyun cut Yoongi off before walking out, leaving them.

Mae was confused as to why she was being added to the group even after they'd debuted a few years ago but was excited to have another female around. Mae got up and walked over to Jaeun and smiled, "Hello Jaeun, welcome to Bangtan!"

Jeun brushed past Mae, hitting her shoulder hard, and walked over to the others.

"Oppas! I can't wait to be apart of this group, I know us eight will be extremely successful," Jeun said, standing in front of Mae.

"You mean nine?" Mae questioned.

"Nope! Let's go to the practice room and you boys can show me the choreography for Dope."

Namjoon let out a deep breath and stood up, smiling at her, and began to walk towards the studio, everyone following. Jaeun was clinging herself onto Jimin and Jungkook. Reaching the practice room, Namjoon decided that Jaeun would watch them and then they'd show her step by step. Finally a few hours later, Jaeun was added in but kept having to be constantly corrected.

Jaehyun came in to watch and scowled at where Jaeun was put, in the back, so he stopped the music and made his way towards the group who, all but one, were confused.

"The choreography looks great but I think we need to change some placements, can you all get to where you go in the chorus, you know in the lines?" they all moved and once everyone was in place he began his changes, "Okay, ahh, I see what needs to change... Mae can you leave for a second?"

Said girl, was confused but did as she was told and left the room. She turned around to face the door but was shocked when she heard the lock click. Mae, tired and sad, left to go to her studio.

_______________________ In the practice room _______________________

"Alright, now that that's done we can continue. Jaeun, I need you to stand where Mae was, you're going to be her replacement." Jaehyun finished, an evil smile painted on his face.

"But Jaehyun, Mae-" Taehyung began to protest but, like always was cut off.

"I'm going to need you seven to listen to me very closely, Mae will not be in this group anymore and whatever you do you will not be allowed to speak to her. I am not allowed to fire or forcibly remove people so I will make sure she leaves because you all ditched that little brat. A talentless thing does not belong in such a talented group like you all, but with the help of Jaeun you all will become more than worldwide famous. Got it? And just so you know, if you don't do what I've asked, I will make sure you all become nothing but seven boys."

Terrified, they nodded. Knowing that they'd already screwed up.

"Great! Get to work, I can't wait to see how these next few weeks go you eight, I'll be cheering you on!" with that Jaehyun left.

"Well... lets get to work," Hoseok said shallowly. The rest nodded and they began to work.

Hours later, they were done so they decided it was time for them to go back to the dorm. They left the building to go to their place and opened the door and made their way to their rooms to shower. Once everyone was clean, they flopped down onto the couch to think.

"So I'm guessing I'll be taking where Mae sleeps?" Jaeun said excitedly. At that, everyone's, except Jaeun's, eyes widened. They'd forgotten to get Mae but Jaeun caught onto what they were thinking and smirked, "you heard Jaehyun, and I'm guessing you all want to keep your careers? I'll be in my room if you need me."

Once she was out of earshot, Jungkook sat up and looked over at Namjoon, "I am not sharing a room with her."

"You don't have to, we have an extra bed in our room so you can take that," Jimin said. Jungkook nodded and decided to go up to bed, as did the others.

Mae sat in her studio and waited...

and waited...

and waited...

and waited...

Until she couldn't wait anymore, so she got to work on some song lyrics she had written down. Hours later, Mae had begun to wonder why they hadn't come by to talk or anything so she stood up and left her studio to find where they'd went. She made her way to the studio and opened the door, easily, only to be greeted by darkness. A little sad they hadn't told her it was time to go, she left to go to the dorm so she could sleep in her bed. Arriving, she opened the door and saw no food left for her and the seven weren't anywhere. Shrugging she shoulders, she made her way to her room and opened the door only to see Jaeun in her bed... using her things. Had they forgotten about her? Hurt, Mae left the dorm to sleep in her studio that had a couch and extra clothing, blankets, pillows, and her essentials. That night, Mae had fallen asleep crying and hurt.
