8th Member (BTS)

Mae was in the US again with BTS. They were all having a great time and it was around the time when Mike Shinoda had asked if she wanted to be apart of his upcoming album. She was at a simple cafe in California working on her computer, playing with new tracks for their next album that would be coming out at the end of the summer.

After what seemed like hours of just staring at her computer, she looked up and made eye contact with the one and only Brendon Urie of Panic! At the Disco. Her eyes widened in surprise and she sent him a smile, which he returned.

"You're Mae, from BTS right?" he asked as he walked over.

Mae was still not the best at english but she tried her hardest, "Yes, yes, here sit so you don't have to be standing," she said as she motioned to the chair across from her. Brendon just chuckled and sat down.

"Ahh, I'm a huge fan Mr. Urie," Mae said, a light pink tinted on her cheeks.

"Drop the formalities, just call me Brendon," he replied with a smile, Mae nodded before he continued, "I've heard your voice Mae and let me tell you, it is fantastic! Now, this might be a stretch, but I was wondering if you'd like to do a collaboration for my album this year."

Mae froze, not sure if she heard the words correctly before she quicklt messaged Sejin who approved. She looked up, smiling, "I'd love to!"

"Great! How about, we go by the studio later? I need to run a few errands but I'll message you a time, sound good?"

She nodded and Brendon made sure they exchanged numbers and took a few pictures before they went there separate ways. Mae was giddy all the way back to the hotel, she loved Panic! At the Disco so much, she'd done a few covers but never released them because she was too scared.

Mae was packing a bag to bring some things to the studio when Urir texted her with the address and telling her the receptionist knew she was on the way. She left a note on the door of her hotel room for the members and left to her destination. As she got closer and closer her excitement as well as nerves grew, she had to keep reminding herself that this was real, she was really collaborating with Brendon Urie (same girl, same).

She entered the building and smiled at the receptionist who stood up and reached out her hand to shake.

"Hello, welcome to the Fuled By Ramen building, I am Kimmy. If you need anything I'll be here but I hope everything goes well. I'm sure it will anyway because I believe this collaboration will be legendary."

"Thank you! It was nice meeting you," Mae replied with a smile.

"MAEE!!!" a voice called, she turned around and saw Brendon walking over, arms wide open and a huge smile on his face, "Welcome! I see you've met Kimmy, she's great but I can't wait to start this collaboration so lets get to it!"

The two walked down the hallway to his studio where they'd be talking about lyrics and recording, both were super excited and, surprisingly, came up with the same ideas making the process faster. By the end of the day, everything was recorded, Brendon was just going to edit a few parts and soon enough it would be ready.
