Loki's P.O.V.
The second that the bomb went off my heart stopped. I screamed [Y/N]'s name again at the top of my lungs. The last thing I had seen was her being engulfed by the explosion. She had definitely been able to contain the damage. Please no. The second the explosion had died out I teleported down to her. Her body lay on the ground, burned and battered. Her wings were singged and metal fragments stuck out of her body, blood seeping from their origen wounds. I held her broken body in my arms, cradling her against my chest.
"[Y/N]..." I whispered. Then anger built up inside me. Someone had done this to her. "[Y/N]!!" I yelled as loud as I could. Then I stood up, still holding her, and teleported back inside. I looked Stark dead in the eyes. "Get to your lab." With that, I teleported myself to his lab and laid her down on the table. He came bursting in with Bruce following at his heels.
"Give me a status report, Jarvis." Stark commanded. Jarvis quickly scanned her.
"She has little pulse. Her breathing appears shallow. She's fading fast, sir." I believe this to be the first time I've seen real terror cross his face.
"You'd better save her, Stark." I growled as I glared at him. He returned my glare.
"Shut up!" He yelled. Tears slipped from his eyes. "Jarvis! Start the regeneration process. Now!" The panic had risen in his voice. Bruce rushed to his computer and began to do something.
"It appears that her body has started to regenerated itself, sir." Jarvis informed. "Starting regeneration process." The soft healing light had begun to illuminate from her body as it did when it started to heal her. Time felt like it took an eternity to pass. My eyes never left her. Bruce had left about half an hour ago. The sorcerer had come in for about 15 minutes before he left, talking about some disturbance he had to attend to. Rogers and Barnes had come in and were still here.
*Some time later*
I wasn't sure how long it had been. I think it had amounted up to hours. [Y/N] still wasn't conscious. Peter and Emma had come to visit briefly. Steve had left by now. Bucky had been dragged out by Steve against his will. Tony was contemplating on leaving to get some coffee or not.
"Just go Stark." I finally said. "I'll make sure no harm comes to her. I'll alert Jarvis if there happens to be a change in her condition." He stared at me for a good amount of time before nodding slowly and retreating from the lab. I sighed and got up from my seat and walked over to the window. I pressed my hand to the glass and clenched my other fist. She didn't deserve to be hurt like this.
"Please come back, [Y/N]." I whispered. "You're my entire world. I need you." I don't usually give into sentiment, but this was an exception.
"Loki?" A voice asked from behind me. I spun around to see [Y/N].
