Fractured - Loki x Reader - Sequel

Bucky's P.O.V.

   Loki groaned as he pushed himself onto his knees. I had to admit. He looked like hell. His eyes were bloodshot with dark circles under them. His clothes were torn and ragged. His eyes, filmed over, gazed around the room slowly before resting on [Y/N]. I knew the second that she saw him she wouldn't be upset at him anymore. And I was right.

   She bent down to his level and rested her hand on his cheek carefully stroking with her thumb. He leaned into her touch. She began to glow, as she always did when she healed someone, but something strange happened as she did so. She flinched every now and again as she healed him. Her eyes squeezed shut and she covered her mouth with her hand. Whimpers escaped from her. Finally her body convulsed, her head threw back wards and she screamed. Tony rushed to her and dragged her back.

   "[Y/N]! [Y/N] stop!" He yelled. The light faded out and she leaned against him, panting. I looked around the room to see everyone's reaction. Some looked shaken or shocked. Others it was harder to tell. I guess I should clear up who was there. (Buck. Fourth wall.) I don't care. There was Clint, Natasha, Strange, Stark, Steve, and Thor. Does that clear it up? Good. Thor was probably the most... helpful... to look at. He looked shocked, but not at [Y/N]. At Loki. I followed his gaze to Loki. What I saw shook me to my core. Tears were running down his face as he gazed at [Y/N].

   "I'm sorry [Y/N]." He choked out. Her head whipped around to face him. "I wasn't there. I broke my promise. I broke my promise and you saw something horrifying, because I wasn't there." I watched as a switch flicked in her head. She stood up and walked over to him. It was strange to see her towering over him, considering he's usually taller than her. She kneeled down in front of him and hugged him tightly.

   "Shhh. It's ok." She murmured, running her hand through his hair. "You have nothing to be sorry for. Would I have rather you been there? Of course. But right now I'm more concerned about what happened to you." He pulled away and gazed at her softly before kissing her cheek.

   "I don't want to talk about what happened to me. It's not important." He told her, standing up. "What I do need to do, is speak with Barnes, Stark, and Rogers." With that he left the room. I shared a glance with Steve before the three of us followed him out. I wasn't quite sure what he would need the three us for. If anything I would have thought he would want to talk to [Y/N] alone.

   Loki was pacing in the hallway, waiting for us. His clothes had changed and he now looked presentable. He stopped when he heard us come out and spun around to face us.

   "What do you need us for, reindeer games?" Tony asked, crossing his arms. "You're not happy to be back with [Y/N]?"

   "She knows." He growled.
