The Abused Host

"I really can't tell you, maybe someday but not now.."

I felt my heart break when I saw the twins their expressions after I said that "I'm sorry.." I said softly before trying to get off of Hikaru's lap. I groaned in annoyance and pain when he pulled me right back down, looking at Kaoru as if they were talking to each other.

Suddenly I'm being turned around by Hikaru, my back on his chest so that Kaoru was in front of me. "Do you want to stay at our place for the night? Or do you want us to bring you home?" Kaoru asked in a sweet voice, gently grabbing my hands and squeezing them. I felt my face heat up when he grabbed my hands, my breath hitching.

"I can't choose neither can I?" I asked with a small frown on my face, not wanting to go home to my father, but also not wanting to bother the twins. "Nope, you have to choose" they both said in sync. "But I don't want to bother you.." I said while trailing off, looking at mine and Kaoru's intertwined fingers. "You wouldn't bother us, right Hikaru?" Kaoru said while gently squeezing my hands, making me look up at him, seeing him smile at me "Of course you won't bother us" Hikaru said from behind me, his arms still securely wrapped around my chest.

I leaned against Hikaru's chest when he said that, my mind trying to think of a logical explanation for all of this "Why would you even want me at your place?" I ask while looking into Kaoru's eyes. I heard them both sigh softly, making my face go red since I already fully knew why they were doing this, I just didn't want to believe them. "Hikaru can you please let him go for a second?" Kaoru asked his brother with a slight frown on his face, confusing me. Hikaru looked at Kaoru and smiled a little before letting go of me.

Kaoru smiled sweetly at me when I kept sitting there awkwardly, not knowing what to do "Can you please come a little closer?" Kaoru asked while holding open his arms and trying to pull me closer. I crawled closer to him with a perplexed expression on my face, a soft whimper slipping from my mouth when he pulled me in for a hug, feeling a burning sting in my chest. I quickly melted into the hug though, my arms automatically wrapping around his back and my face leaning against his chest.

I felt Kaoru pet my hair and play with it a little before he started to talk "You wanted to know the reason why we would want you at our place right?" He asked in a soft tone while placing a comforting hand on my back. I hummed in response, not wanting to talk right now. "Well, we have lots of reasons, the biggest one of all of them is probably that we like you a lot, is that a good enough reason?" He asked me afterwards, making my ears flush a bright red colour "Y..Yes" I said while stuttering, hiding my face in my hands since my face awas probably bright red.

I heard Hikaru chuckle from behind me, his hand suddenly on my lower back "So..do you want to stay at our place for tonight?" Hikaru asked while caressing the small of my back. I shyly looked up at Kaoru, then behind me at Hikaru "If it's really okay with you guys, and of course with your family...then I'll stay at your place" I felt my whole face heat up when the door suddenly opened, hiding my face in Kaoru's chest. "I was going to ask if everything was going alright but I see that isn't necessary" I heard Haruhi say with amusement lacing her voice, the door closing not long after.

I shot up when the door closed, closing my eyes for a second when my sight got hazy. "I..I'm sorry if I embarrassed you" I say with a red face while looking at my feet. Wanting to walk away but not being able to, knowing I would just make things worse for myself if I did that. I heard both of them laugh as they also stood up. They both walked closer to me, Hikaru caressing my cheek and Kaoru goofily smiling at me "Let's go outside, I think we've been here way too long" Kaoru said while gently pushing me towards the door.

I hummed softly and made sure to glance in the mirror, seeing that my make-up smudged on my cheeks and under my eyes. My eyes widened, glancing at the twins before trying my best to fix it "Just keep it as it is, we're taking you to our house anyway. We're definitely going to make you take off that make-up, matter what" Hikaru said before gently grabbing my waist and pulling me along with them. I immediately looked down when the other members came into my sight.

I felt all of them look at me before turning their attention towards the twins "He's alright again" They said in-sync, both sounding really happy. I felt a soft blush creep up to my cheeks, glancing up at the host club, seeing all of them look at me and the twins. "I'm sorry if I worried you" I say with a red face, finally looking up so that I wouldn't look as shy and embarrassed as I felt.

"It's alright, you don't have to apologise" Honey said while smiling brightly "We're just happy to see you doing better again" he said while walking over to me and hugging my waist. I smiled and gently patted his head "Thank you Honey" I said while glancing at the twins behind me, they were both silently talking to each other.

Honey let go of me before walking over to Mori and making grabby hands at him. I looked at the rest of the host and saw them all talking to each other, making me turn around and look at the twins again.

"Can we please go?"
