Yuki's pov

The next morning I groggily opened my eyes, snuggling more into the warmth that I was laying on. I was beginning to fall asleep again till I felt something going through my hair. I sleepily opened my eyes, looking right into a pair of amber ones. I feel my face flush as I try to sit up, not being able to because of an arm around my waist.

"I..I'm sorry" I said softly, my face was flush against his chest, the soft cotton of his shirt feeling smooth against my skin. "Don't worry about it, go back to sleep if you want" Kaoru said while combing his hand through my hair, making my body instantly relax.

I heard Hikaru groan softly behind me while hugging me even closer then before. His arms were still wrapped around my waist, my back touching his chest. I ignored the throbbing pain that came with it because of all the pressure against my body and closed my eyes again. I knew that I needed all the energy that I could get.

Not too long after I drifted away.

I opened my eyes and looked around. I was sitting in the living room with both my mom and my dad. They were laughing happily at something that I hadn't heard. I laughed along with them as we happily ate our dinner.

Suddenly mom was gone, the mood taking a turn for the worst. Dad was looking at me with a sweet and sad smile. "Why did you run from me? Where are you staying at?" He asked me while standing up and walking towards me. "Why won't you come back?" He asked while kneeling in-front of me, gently grabbing my wrists. "Why won't you just come back!" He suddenly started yelling, gripping my wrists tightly.

"You brat! Come back or I'll come to your school! I'll find out where you're staying at! I'll make them pay for keeping you away from me!"

"Yuki!" I woke up in a cold sweat, seeing two very worried faces looking down at me. My heart was going crazy and my breathing was erratic. I had tears flowing down my cheeks and the sweater that I was wearing was sticking to my sweaty chest.

"I have to go home" I managed to stammer out, my body still shaking violently. "I have to go home" I said again, trying to sit up, quickly finding out that that wasn't a good idea. My head was spinning and my body felt like it just got hit by a bus. "Hey, why don't you eat something first? then we can talk about it over lunch, okay?" Kaoru said while pulling me close to him, protectively hugging me close to his chest. I felt Hikaru take my hands in his which made me look at him.

I couldn't breathe. My chest felt tight and my head felt like it was hit by a hammer. Hikaru's face was blurry and I couldn't hear his words very clearly. I saw his head turn to Kaoru and them talking. But I still couldn't hear nor see them. It was like there were a million voices screaming at me, repeating all of my dads words. I curled up in a ball on Kaoru's lap, my hands covering my ears, wishing for the voices to go away.

I almost didn't feel it when Hikaru grabbed my hands again. Kaoru had started combing his fingers through my hair just like when I woke up the first time, probably remembering that I found it relaxing when he had done that. Hikaru gained my attention once more when he carefully grabbed my chin and made me look at him.

"What do you like to do??" He suddenly asked me, catching me off guard "W..What?" I was beyond confused. "What do you like to do?" He repeated his question, softly rubbing my knuckles while doing so. I was still a trembling and whimpering mess, but I managed to answer. "I..I like to draw" I say quietly while looking into his eyes. "N..Nature " I answered in a shaky whisper. I closed my eyes and lean my head against Kaoru's chest, wanting the dizziness to go away. "Do you have anything specific that you like about nature?"

I had to think about that question for a minute "Nature calms me down, It's peaceful and pretty" I finally answered, my eyes still closed. "And what do you like to draw the most? The forests? The Valleys perhaps?" He asked me again. "Lakes and forests" I said while finding myself leaning more and more on Kaoru's chest. "Do you usually draw at night or during the day?" He just kept asking questions.
"During the day."

"Do you add details to the drawing? Like animals or plants?" He asked, he intertwined our fingers and I felt soft lips come in contact with my knuckles. "I usually draw it without details, since I never really take the time to finish a drawing" I say softly, feeling my body relax a little bit more.

"Can you open your eyes?" He asked this time, our fingers still intertwined. I felt that I had calmed down a lot. I wasn't shaking anymore and I didn't feel my heart attempting to get out of my chest. I slowly open my eyes to find Hikaru smiling at me "Calmed down?" he asked me while caressing my cheek. I forced a small smile and nodded softly. My body was slumped against Kaoru's as I looked at Hikaru, desperately wanting his comforting arms around me.

I held out my arms as I looked at Hikaru, making him smile at me and wrap his arms around me. Since I was leaning against Kaoru it made Hikaru hug him at the same time, resulting in Kaoru chuckling and also wrapping his arms around the both of us. "Thanks for calming me down...I really do need to go home though..." I said while looking down, frowning a little. Of course I wanted nothing more than to stay here, but I didn't want to put the twins in any danger whatsoever. Not for me.

I felt Hikaru affectionately brush the hair out of my face, cupping my cheeks in his warm hands afterwards. "Let's go downstairs to fill our stomachs before we talk about that, does that sound good?"

"Yes."
