Chapter 22: Snowy Days
Astrid POV:
*1 Month later*
I pulled my car into the waiting line to pick Freya up from school. It was now December, and this was Freyas last day of school before Christmas Break.
It was snowing hard outside, since we were supposed to get at least 8-12 inches of snow tonight. I exhaled my breath, letting white fog out of my mouth. I then rubbed my hands together and turned up the heat in my car.
I checked the time on my iPhone, and it was now 3:00, so Freya would be coming out at any time. The doors then bursted open, revealing many kids leaving the Kindergarten building. Freya ran over to my black GMC, and I crawled my body over my seat and pushed the door opened to the back.
She giggled and climbed in her car seat behind my seat. "Hey sweet pea! How was your Christmas Party today?" I say and pull out of the line. "It was good! We watched the Polar Express, the Grinch and the Christmas Chronicle! We also ate lots of candy and cupcakes and everyone loved my Santa outfit!" Freya snickered and I laughed.
"I told you everyone would love it!" I smiled and moved my braid onto my shoulder. "What did you and daddy do today?" Freya asks and I sighed. "Not much sweetie. It's so snowy today, hey! Maybe we will have a white Christmas!" I exclaim and she turned her head. "What's a white Christmas?" She asks and I laughed. "It's when It snows on Christmas!" I say and she giggled again.
"I can't wait for Santa to come!" Freya says as we drove down the street we live on. "Oh I don't know? I think you've been a naughty girl this year!" I snicker and she glared at me. "Mommy stop it!" She giggled and I laughed as we pulled into our driveway. Hiccup had decorated our house with Christmas lights and a Santa Claus balloon.
Freya ran up to our door, and she pulled it open. Hiccup was asleep on the couch, and Freya put her finger up to her lips at me, then she snuck over to Hiccup.
She then jumped on top of him, and he freaked out. I began to laugh so hard, I swear I peed my pants. "Hey pumpkin! I think you just gave me a heart attack! Let me catch my breath, holy crap, and babe it's not funny!" Hiccup says and he lays his hands on his chest. Freya giggled and she hugged Hiccup.
"How was your Christmas Party Mrs. Claus?" Hiccup chuckles and Freya smiled. "It was super fun!" She exclaims and wrapped her little arms around Hiccups neck. He kissed her ear and hugged her back.
"Babe it's freezing out there." I exclaim as I shut the door. "Well then!" Hiccup began and pulled apart from Freya. "Luckily I made chili!" Hiccup squealed and I dropped my jaw.
"I GET FIRST!" I scream as I ran into the kitchen, topping over the shoes on the floor. "NO BABE! I COOKED IT!" Hiccup yells after me as I ran to the chili.
"I DONT HAVE A REASON BUT IM LITTLE SO I GET IT FIRST!" Freya screams and yells into the kitchen with me and Hiccup.

We were settling down on the couch, eating more chili at 7pm. Me and Hiccup were cuddling up together, as Freya was laying on both of our laps, covered my blankets.
"Mm, this is so good!" Freya exclaims, eating her 3rd small bowl. She had 1 after school and 2 for dinner. Pig.
I set my bowl aside and put my arms on Freyas waist, tickling her. "My little piggy!" I say and then I snorted. "Mommy did the piggy noise!" Freya laughed and looked at me, and snorted like a pig. Hiccup just rose a brow at me and Freyas gestures. "Oh come on babe! Don't be a party pooper!" I say and then I snorted. He started cracking up and holding his stomach.
"PIGGY PIGGY!" Freya snorts and began to laugh so hard she snorted. "Ok that's enough." I chuckled and grabbed my chili again. "Freya why don't you pick out a Christmas movie? And then once we finish our chili we can make hot chocolate, and if we get hungry later we can make popcorn." I say and she giggled.
"What about the Polar Express again?" She squeals, and put her hands on her cheeks, wiping away her bangs. "Sure! It's upstairs so you have to go get it!" I say and she didn't hesitate to go get the movie from then DEN upstairs. Once she was up the stairs, I put my empty chili bowl on the end table and snuggled into Hiccup. He then put his chili bowl on the end table also.

"Oh I wish we had snowy days all the time." Hiccup says as we looked down at the sleeping Freya. She was cuddled into my chest, wrapped in blankets and wearing foot pajamas. Her beautiful auburn hair was pulled back in a single braid, with her bangs showing.
"Snowy days and Rainy days are my absolute favorite." I say as I cuddled into Hiccups chest, trying not to move Freya. "Mine too. I could always do this. Snuggle and watch movies with my favorite girls, eating popcorn and drinking hot chocolate." He says and kissed my head. "Me too." I murmured, and I began to doze off, and we both fell asleep, snuggled up together with my sweet pea.
