The two didn't even need a name to know who he was talking about. Eventually, Krillin just patted his back and said, "There's not much you can do, other than put a little faith in them. We all know that they won't stand to do something they don't want to. They're stubborn enough to make it out okay."
But what if your stubborn attitude was what got you in trouble? How could he be sure you're safe? Goku never did trust the Ginyu Squad, and he had no idea that you were in for the biggest trust exercise one could think of.
"You're going to what?" Your voice became shrill, causing the other members of the Ginyu Squad to flinch.
"Throw you," Ginyu said as he rubbed at his ears. "It's just to get you used to the idea of being a Flyer."
Oh, how you wanted to protest! There was no way they'd get you up in the air! But then you remember what Guldo told you, and you sighed. They'd probably just throw you anyway, so there was no reason to put up a fight. Taking a deep breath, you turned towards Ginyu and threw your hands out to your side before exclaiming, "Fine, just do it already!"
He just shook his head with a smile. "I'm not going to throw you! Racoome is!"
"W-What?" You asked, looking back at the man in question. No way, he'd mess it up for sure! You didn't trust him.
"Don't worry! He's a fine catcher! He's been throwing Guldo for ages!"
You didn't want to be thrown by Racoome. You were heavier, bigger than Guldo, and there's no way Racoome was smart enough to adjust to the difference, you were sure of it! You were hesitant, and Ginyu, almost as if he didn't notice, said, "In fact, you two should do this outside. Don't need you hitting the ceiling!" That just made your face pale. You could hit the ceiling?! He then continued, "In fact, why don't Burter and Guldo join you! Once you get the hang of being thrown, you guys can run some plays."
'Run some plays,' like you were a sports team or something. At the realization that they'd just leave Ginyu and Jeice, Jeice sighed and rubbed the back of his neck. Everyone else was already heading out the door, so you followed after with the worst possible scenarios running through your head.
It was refreshing outside. As the day was ending, it was getting cooler, and it helped to clear your head, but it wasn't enough to shake your doubts. Burter and Guldo went off on their own, and you watched the first throw. Up on Burter's hands, into the air, and caught in his arms. It was simple. You just had to... Not hit the ground.
You looked over to Racoome, who was kneeling on the ground. It made you tense, but then he looked at you and said, "I don't think you could handle being thrown right away." He laced his hands together and held them close to the ground. "We can work on your balance first."
Your eyes narrowed. Was he... Mocking you? He was a pretty well-known bully, so it really wasn't out of the realm of question. That fact also brought up the possibility that he might intentionally drop you, which did nothing to ease your worries. With a hesitant step forward, you asked, "What do you want me to do?"
He shook his laced hands, drawing attention to them. "Step on 'em."
Well that certainly wasn't helpful. After a moment, you put both your feet in his hands, and he lifted you off the ground, although he couldn't get far before you leaned forward and gripped his shoulders like your life depended on it. Hell, it probably did!
