soobin's therapy session went well today. he opened up more to doctor min about his feelings with yeonjun, and how he still has his down days, but overall, the past month with these sessions and his friends, and yeonjun, by his side, the boy could feel himself slowly getting better, with the help of his medication of course.

he had just been dismissed from his session and walked into the waiting area, where he met yeonjun.

"hey, love. how did it go?" yeonjun pulled the boy into a comforting hug, placing a soft kiss to his temple. this had become part of the routine when soobin had came out of his sessions.

"it was okay." soobin smiled, his first genuine smile that day. "it's been getting better thanks to the help of you and doctor min.

"i'm glad. but we better hurry because i have a surprise waiting for you at home." yeonjun smirked, pulling the younger boy to the car.

"not a big fan of surprises but okay." soobin sighed, but smiled back at the excited boy infront of him.

the couple got in the car and sped home, yeonjun managing to keep under the speed limit. before long, they had pulled up to the apartment complex not too far from their college.

as they both made their way up in the elevator of the building, yeonjun pulled soobin in close, hugging his small waist from behind.

"now, i'm gonna put this blindfold on just in case the surprise is misplaced, but don't worry, you're gonna love it." yeonjun smiled, wrapping a soft fabric scarf around soobin's eyes.

"i'm not scared at all." the younger said sarcastically.

the elevator soon signaled that they had reached their designated floor, yeonjun guiding the younger to his apartment before unlocking the door quickly. he held the door open and pulled the soobin in sideways before placing him facing the kitchen island.

"okay, everything's set." yeonjun spoke, taking the scarf from around soobin's head.

"what's all this?" the younger questioned, eyes moving from the cupcakes to the flowers, to the balloons that came from behind the counter.

"there's more." yeonjun grinned before letting out a soft whistle.

soobin stood in shock as he watched the balloons move from behind the counter, revealing the cutest golden retriever he had ever saw.

"o-oh my fucking god, yeonjun! you got a dog?" soobin smiled widely in excitement, crouching down to pet the dog, letting out a soft chuckle at the cuteness of her with ribbons and balloons attached to her head.

"this is your dog." yeonjun smiled, crouching next to the younger, causing him to fall down in surprise.

"m-mine?" he stuttered out. "w-why?"

"i thought you'd like some company when i'm at work. her name's luna and she's three. she's a trained emotional support dog. i thought i'd get her for you since you've progressed so much in your recovery and i just love seeing you so happy." yeonjun smiled, holding soobin's hands in his.

"junnie, this is too much." soobin pouted, tears welling in his eyes at the affection and care that yeonjun showed towards him. "thank you, so much."

"it's okay, my love." yeonjun pulled him in for a hug. "i also have two more questions for you."

"oh god, what is it?" soobin questioned nervously.

"okay first, will you officially be my boyfriend again, and will you let me be there for you all day and everyday?" yeonjun asked, hopefully.

"that was two questions, but yes. and yes." soobin smiled, a happy tear trailing down his cheek before he pressed a soft kiss to yeonjun's lips.

"and secondly," the older pulled away, "will you move in with me?"

"oh my god, yeonjunnie!" soobin squealed, "of course i will."

"you make me so happy." yeonjun cheered, hugging the smaller boy.

"and you make my dark days bright again." the younger commented, before pulling away, placing his lips on the older's, the two sharing the most passionate, loving kiss.

"i love you so much, my soobinnie."

"i love you more, my yeonjunnie."

and it was this day, soobin had regained his happiness, he had grown stronger and more confident, all thanks to this boy in front of him. this boy who held him when he was sad, this boy who had always been there. his yeonjun.
