"So Kyle, what was it that we hadn't done... YET?"

Kyle choked on his breath when I asked him the question, turning completely red as he took his headphones off. "W-What it was? N-Nothing really. It's just Kenny, being a complete asshole as usual. don't mind it." The guys then spoke up again, yelling at the top of their lungs. "Kyle's a total wuss! What he commented on was that I asked him if you two had-" Kyle quickly hung up the call on discord before looking back at me with an awkward smile spread across his face. "Why did you do that?" I questioned, crossing my arms. "He was going to make up some weird lie, I know it. And besides, I don't even think you want to hear it."

I smirked. I already knew what it was that they were talking about. I figured it out by the way Kenny and Cartman teased him, and by the way Kyle was reacting. But I wanted to say one last thing, tease him one last time regarding this subject.

"Kyle, calm down. It's not like he was going to say that the one thing we haven't done is to have sex, right?" Kyle choked once again, turning completely red. Almost as red as a tomato. The reaction caused me to giggle slightly. I really loved this guy... "I mean. He's Kenny and all, but how would he get the idea of picking on you for that if it was all made up... He isn't exactly the brightest of your friends..." He nodded, avoiding eye contact. "Well, that is if it really was made up..." Kyle's eyes suddenly widened as his attention shifted to me. Our eyes met and I smiled at him. "I know what you were talking about." His cheeks turned a faint pink, making his freckles stand out even more than they used to. He was blushing once again. "Anyhow, I'm going downstairs. I need to call my mom real quick."

I hurried downstairs, leaving the flustered Kyle by himself. I grabbed my phone from the kitchen table before dialing my mom, on FaceTime. It didn't take long before she answered, and boy did she not seem happy. "(Y/n) (Last/n)! Why haven't you nor Kyle been picking up our calls!? Do you know how worried I, your dad, Sheila and Gerald's been. We were this close to calling the police." She held up her hand, holding up her index and thumb to dramatize her statement. "But you're in luck young lady, one of Kyle's friends, Stan I think, reassured us that you both were okay."

I sighed, it wasn't intentional to make her this worried. I just didn't want them to worry about me again. Especially not now when Vicky'd reappeared. I couldn't let her know about any of that.

"Look, mom, I know this won't help much but I'm sorry. I really am. I didn't mean to make you this worried, and I promise you that Kyle and I've been taking care of one another." My mom nodded, looking up from the phone. She was probably telling dad something, or talking to someone else. I had no way of knowing. I snickered however. I didn't notice before, but she had a horrible tan. It didn't suit her. She looked a bit like president Garrison. "Hey mom?" She looked back down at the phone, smiling slightly. "So how's it been? You know, being without your only child for the past like 3 weeks?" Her smile faded. And I hadn't noticed, but mine had done as well. It hadn't struck me how much I really missed them. The lack of contact really got to me now, and the fact that they went on a trip for a whole month, forgetting to book a ticket for me? I hadn't realized it, but it hurt.

"Ah, (Y/n)...-" "(Moms/n)! Get over here! Gerald and (Dads/n) are having a dance off with the waitress!" "I'm sorry (Y/n), but I have to go. I'll call you later this evening, make sure to answer this time." I nodded, avoiding eye contact with the image on my phone. "Hey, don't pout like that, we're coming home next week you know, just in time for your birthday." She smiled and my eyes widen. "Wha-?" Had I seriously forgotten about my own birthday? I snapped my head to the right, narrowing my eyes while looking at an calendar on the fridge. My birthday was in exactly 10 days. All this drama with Bebe and Vicky had made me forgot all about it. God, how is that even possible?

"We miss you a lot." I looked back at mom and I nodded once again, giving her one of those fake smiles I'd given her at least 100 times. I couldn't give her a legit one, she was the one who was hanging up on me after all this time of not being in contact after all. " I... miss you too..." She smiled, looking up, yelling at Sheila before looking down at me again. "Hey, go and hang out with Kyle. You have to tell me about how it's going for the two of you later, I'm curious." My eyes widen and my cheeks heat up. "M-Mom!" She laughed, winking slightly. "I'll call you later. I love you." I sighed, smiling for real this time. "I love you too." She hung up, and I let out one last giggle before making my way up to Kyle's room.

I was about to open the door when I heard Kyle whisper-talk. I stopped dead in my tracks, putting my ear against the door. I know that you're not supposed to eavesdrop, not like this, but I was curious. What if he was talking to the guys?

"Yeah, she's downstairs right now. She's speaking to her mom... Mhm... Yeah." I could see his serious face in front of me, nodding as he agreed with the person he was talking to. I bet he was adorable. "No, don't be like that. When (Y/n)'s being like that she's just... Jealous. She has the right to be. It's not because it's you." I lifted my ear from the door, narrowing my eyes slightly. Was he talking to- No, he couldn't have been. Why in gods name would he be talking to her? I swallowed, feeling my heart race as I placed my ear on the door again, eagerly listening for a name, a clue, something to tell me that it wasn't her he was talking to.

But the next sentence I heard made my heart drop, I was right... "Alright, I trust you Vicky."
