(Requested by MrAwesome_Boy08)
Author's Note: Hey readers. Thank you MrAwesome_Boy08 for the request! The idea you gave me took a little thought but I promised I'd do it for you. And for those of you who don't know, MrAwesome_Boy08 is actually my younger brother and his favourite character is Chase so he really wanted me to write this after I wrote Dealing With The Aftermath. So enjoy!

Chase was speeding down the street with Chief Charlie Burns at the wheel. Pursuing a driver along the streets of Griffin Rock.
In the end they caught up to the driver and fined him for passing the speed limit. Just as they received a call from someone who could either be a real help, or a real pain. But either way, it was always a pleasure.
Doc Greene.
"Hello? Chief? I would you to come and visit me at the lab. Bring the whole team and your bots."
"What for?"
"One of my machines have gone haywire! We don't know what it's going to do! Please hurry, Chief!"
"On our way." Chief Burns ended the call. "Come on, partner! Let's go save Doc...again."
"Perhaps we should place a limit on how many inventions Doc Greene should create," Chase suggested.
"But then he'll make them more advanced and more dangerous. Besides, there's no changing Doc Greene."
Chase smiled before driving off. Chief Burns called the rest of the team and told them to meet at the lab.
~~~~
They arrived at the lab and the first thing they saw was Frankie running out, waving her arms. Dani climbed out of Blades to meet Frankie."Are you okay?" Dani asked.
"I'm fine, but my dad is still in there with the machine!" Frankie panicked.
"Don't worry, Frankie. We'll get your dad out safe and sound."
"Everyone, in," Chief Burns ordered the team. They all obeyed and ran through the doors, with their Rescue Bots following closely behind them.
~~~~
When they saw the interior they were met with nothing but surprise. Doc Greene was standing infront of a machine the size of a bot, but enough to hold one of them. It was surrounded by green lazors and the controls were flashing rapidly.Chase ran over and grabbed Frankie's father before pulling him away. But then suddenly Chase felt something pull him towards the machine. He quickly threw Doc Greene towards Kade who was knocked over by him, much to his annoyance.
Chief Burns ran over to Chase but wasn't effected. Only Chase was.
Without warning, the other bots began feeling aswell. So they grabbed entrance to keep themselves from falling victim to the machine.
The others stared at Chase, who was unable to brace himself. He was then sucked into the machine followed by the doors infront of him closing. The other bots then relaxed as they were no longer being pulled.
"Doc, what does that machine do!?" Graham asked alarminly.
"It was supposed to be a new state-of-the-art scanning system so that I could project new holograms. But I don't understand why the bots were lured in," The Doctor replied.
Swiftly, the whole room began to fill with steam. So no one was able to see what the controls were doing and no one could see what the machine was doing to Chase.
The room cleared, and the machine was in ruins. No bot was inside.
"Chase? Chase!" Heatwave yelled.
A figured appeared from a cloud of smoke, he was wearing a police uniform with brown hair and blue shades. On his shoulders there were images of the Rescue Bot symbol.
"I believe I am fine."
It was Chase...
"Chase? What happened to you?" Blades asked.
"I am unable to answer that question...because I do not know," Chase replied.
Doc Greene looked at the machine, then turned a notebook.
"I think I understand. The bots were being pulled towards it but we humans weren't. Perhaps their metal protoforms were being magnetised to the inside. Explaining why we were safe."
"That explains one thing, but what about Chase?" Kade questioned.
"My machine was programmed to scan what ever was inside so that I could produce holograms, but perhaps instead of scanning Chase to produce a hologram, it scanned him to project a hologram on him. Making him, a human."
Chase stared at his hands. "How long will I remain like this?"
"As long as it takes to fix the machine," Doc Greene replied.
"But, dad, that took weeks to build, and Chase has work to do," Frankie reminded him.
"Perhaps I can find a short cut. If I just fix the projector, which will only take a few hours. Maybe I can manually reverse the affect."
"So in the mean time, we'll need to continue work without a police bot," Chief Burns announced as he placed a hand on Chase's shoulder. It quickly glitched out then reappeared.
Graham ran over with a piece of machinery. Using it to scan Chase.
"Whatever you were using to produce the holograms isn't stable. If we stay in contact with Chase for too long then the hologram will glitch and dissapear."
"Isn't that a good thing?" Boulder asked.
"But if the hologram dissapeares unsafely then so will Chase. And there is no way of projecting him again."
Chief Burns walked over to Doc Greene. "So how long will it take to fix?"
"A least an hour. So you may as well stay put," Doc replied.
Everyone groaned in disappointment. Then made themselves comfortable.
The bots spoke to each other...
Kade and Dani began playing which Doc's other machines while Frankie constantly told them not to...
And Chief Burns and Graham watch as Doc Greene fixed the projector.
~~~~
The hour slowly passed but finally Doc had the machine repaired. He walked over to Chase and aimed before pushing the button and setting off the machine. Allowing it to scan Chase before removing the hologram.Blades ran over and hugged him unexpectantly. "Good to have you back, Chase."
Chase pulled himself away. "I never left, but I must say that I never want to be a human again. It was not a good experience."
The team laughed then walked out of the entrance. Chase followed then stared at his servos. Which suddenly glitched and changed back to human hands. Before anyone could notice, they changed back to normal. Chase then caught up with his teammates. Not wanting to tell them what he had just seen...
Finished! Finally. But some of you may be dissapointed cause I gave the story a cliff hanger. I may come back and write a second part but I have another request to write so I'm not sure. However I will if you want me to.
