A/N: This was originally requested by my brother MrAwesome_Boy08 (see part 1) but this second part was requested by autobotfan02 so in a way this is for both of you. I hope you enjoy this one-shot!

A few days had passed since the incident and Chase was still experiencing the glitches. He was easily able to hide them from the rest of the team but he knew that eventually he would have to come clean. Despite the consequences.

What he was doing went against everything he stood for, but he didn't want to worry his team with it when there were rescues to be performed. He assumed it would wear off in around a week but he would still have to wait to find out.

He entered the bunker with his fellow Rescue Bots. Heatwave turned around and noticed that there was something wrong with his friend.

"Everything okay, Chase?" he asked.

Chase stared at his servos for a moment before looking up with a startled expression. "Um..yes, everything is fine. Thank you for the concern, Heatwave."

Heatwave raised an optic ridge, this wasn't Chase at all, but he couldn't argue with him, it didn't feel right. "If you say so."

Chase felt bad for lying, but he didn't know what to say, especially to Heatwave.

A few hours passed and Heatwave, Boulder and Blades had been sent on a mission with their human partners. Nothing major, just to clear some damage on an old road so that it could be rebuilt. So there was no need for a police bot.

The trio returned to the bunker for some rest, they were expecting Chase to be waiting for them with a smile. But when the lift brought them to the surface...

...he wasn't there.

"Chase?" Blades asked as he looked around.

"Chase!" Heatwave called out making the two bots shiver a little bit. No one would dare ignore Heatwave when he's using that voice....except maybe Kade.

"Did he go out?" Boulder asked the others.

"But Chief is still here, usually he would go with Chase if something was wrong," Blades pointed out.

"Good point," Boulder replied. "But Chase was told to stay here and it's not like him to go against an order."

Heatwave turned to face the others. "We'll just have to go out and look for him."

"But we can't go out without our partners!" Blades exclaimed. "What if someone saw us?"

"This is our teammate we're talking about, Blades. Besides, Chief told us that the safety of others is more important then keeping our identity a secret," Heatwave argued. "And this is our mission, we find Chase and make sure he is safe."

Blades and Boulder looked at each other worryingly before nodding to their leader.

"Rescue Bots, roll to the rescue!" Heatwave yelled to his team before transforming into a fire engine. The duo followed his lead without question.

Then they all left the firehouse in search of Chase.

~~~~
After a few hours of searching, they finally found Chase in the woods. The Autobot was trying to keep his Cybertronain, and human, identity a secret from all those who didn't know.
Heatwave was the first to transform and say something. "Chase, tell us the truth, something's wrong."
Chase stood up to face his teammates. "I can assure you that nothing is wrong." As he said that, he began to glitch again, and no matter what he did, he couldn't hide it from the others. The trio gasped as they watched.
"Chase, you're still a human," Blades said surprised.
The policebot sighed. "Correct, I believe the machine did not remove the human form but instead caused me to regain part of my original form. Causing the constant glitches."
Boulder gave his friend a reassuring smile. "You should have told us the truth. We would have helped you."
"And we still are," Heatwave added. Blades nodded in agreement.
Chase nodded. "I knew that you were going to find out the truth, but I was afraid of how you were going to react, so I kept it to myself in hope that it wear off."
Heatwave placed a servo on Chase's shoulder plating. "Let's get you to the lab, the Doc will have something to fix it."
"Very well," he eventually agreed before transforming along with his fellow Rescue Bots.
Doc Greene was both thrilled and concerned when the other bots told him what was going on. Chase hadn't said a word since they arrived, he wanted to, but he just couldn't.
"Dad, is Chase still at risk of dissapearing like a hologram?" Frankie asked as she walked over.
"Not right now, but I fear that he will soon turn back into a human if we do not do something fast," he replied.
"So what can we do?" Heatwave asked.
"Well, I can simply reuse the projector on Chase in hope that it will turn him back into what he was," the doctor replied as he picked up the machine.
"And if it doesn't?" Blades asked nervously.
"Then it could make him dissapear on the spot," he said before activating the projector.
"WHAT?!" the three Rescue Bots yelled as they watched the projector scan Chase before removing the hologram, for good this time.
Chase looked at his servos and saw that they were no longer glitching. He smiled a little. "I believe the projector has served it's purpose."
Heatwave nodded before reached down to Doc and grabbing the projector. He held it between his servos as he crushed them together.
"Heatwave! What are you doing?!" Doc Greene yelled as he watched.
The Rescue Bot knelt down then held out the crushed projector as the Doc accepted it.
"Sorry, but I'm not putting anymore of my team at risk," he told him. The scientist rolled his eyes a little as he placed it on the floor.
"Come on, guys," Boulder smiled. "Let's go home."
The three bots nodded as they transformed then drove out as the light of the sunset reflected off of their chassis.
It's hard to believe that I wrote part one almost a year ago, and I never thought that anyone would want me to continue it, but now I have. Also, sorry for the long wait, it's been months since I updated this book due to the lack of requests. But I have now added it to my schedule again so that I can get through all of my new requests.
