A Programmer's Reincarnation

Today is the day I finally going to start my magic training. 

I was very excited that I woke up one hour early and finished all my morning chores. Even the maids were surprised when they came to wake me up. Mother was also surprised(I don't know why all were so surprised tho).

When Mr. Devour arrived we went to the study room. Since I was reading there last weak there was a lot of books. Mr. Devour was a little surprised by the number of books there.

|| Alven, were you reading all these books

|| Yes, Mr. Devour. I was so curious and excited that I decided to learn some basics of magic.

|| Realy. I thought I have to teach you from very basics but if you had already gone through it then I think we complete the basics quickly

|| Also Alven

|| Yes Mr. Devour

|| Can you not call me Mr. Devour, it very formal

|| Then.... how about the teacher.

|| No that also feels formal

|| Then, how about teach

|| Yes that would be good

|| Then you can also call me Al

|| Okay then Al, let's start the magic training

I said with a very wide smile on my face

|| Tell me, Al, what do you know about magic so far

|| I don't know about other magic but I know about the basics of Spirit command magic. 

|| Okay and what do you know about it

|| In Spirit command magic we chant the magic sequence which works as commands for the spirit and executes magic

|| Yes that is correct, but do you know more about the magic sequences

|| Magic sequences consist about every single information about the magic the magician is performing, amount of mana, size, type, range and many more. 

|| Well that is also correct. But do you know there much into it?

|| What teach

|| It also contains the magician's soul code.

|| Soul code? What is a soul code?
I asked.

|| Soul code is like a unique code or statement believed to present in every person's soul. It is unique for every person and thus helps spirits to identify the magician.

So it is like an ID. I thought

|| So how you get about your soul code. Does you had to go to a church or is there any magic.
I asked

|| No Al, no church, no magic, soul code is something you just know after a certain age, it appears in your head as you know it from the beginning.

|| But I don't seem to know my soul code

|| Yes you did, you performed magic all by yourself didn't you.

|| Yes I did, but it doesn't feel like I was chanting a soul code

|| Well that is the mystery about soul code, no one knows how, but after a certain age you just know it. You cannot recall normally but when you perform magic it just appears in your head.

|| Yes, Now that I think about it I did saw some weird statements while I was chanting the magic sequence.

|| Yes, that was your soul code

|| Tell me, Al, you were learning the basics of magic, did you perhaps performed magic.

|| No, I was strictly prohibited by mother not to perform magic and also I was also a little scared after I heard what happened to Eoma.

|| Ok then let's go
He approached the door

|| But where?
I asked excitedly

|| Outside, we don't want all these books to get damaged.
