A Programmer's Reincarnation

So... That was all the story of the time o first arrived at this place. Now that I had remembered everything I kind of understand where that nostalgic feeling was coming from. 

|| So do you remember everything

|| Yes. I remembered everything

|| Then let's talk about what you are going to do in future

|| Yes, please

Then the dining table appeared again. The chairs and tea set were also there. As before I took one seat and the goddess took one on the opposite side.

The teapot came floating and filled the cup which I picked up and start taking sips. The Goddess also took a cup and took a sip and then she continued.

|| So Aryan, or should I call you Alven

|| Well I am Alven now so I will prefer that more but you call me anything

|| Then Al. As you know I called you here because I sensed something was wrong with the Demon lord. 

|| Yes

|| After I sent you I did my research and tried to figure out the problem.

|| And did you got anything

|| Yes, 6 months after I sent you, I found out that something was happening to demon king's seal.

|| Seal! What seal? Wasn't the Demon King killed by the hero?

|| No. The hero was not powerful enough to defeat the Demon King. So he used all his power to seal the Demon King to a secret and faraway place, sacrificing himself in the process. He requested us, Gods, to look over the seal of Demon King.

|| So are you trying to say that the Demon King is going to release?

|| That's something I am not sure about now. I only know that something is wrong with the seal but what that I don't know.

|| So You still don't have any idea of what is coming.

|| No but that's why I had sent you to this world so that you can figure out the problem and, if you could, also solve it.

|| So I'll be going to a mission without even knowing what I am supposed to do. This reminds of the days when I used to make games without having the slightest idea of what was I doing and what am I going to do next.

|| So you will be continuing your mission right?

If it was the previous me, I would have refused. A mission with no information is very dangerous but now I have a family in this world, people I love and want to protect so...

||, Of course, I will continue.

|| That's what I wanted to hear.

|| So what am I supposed to do next.

|| Well for that. 

She got up and lead me to the room. It was an empty room with white everywhere. Then a table emerged out of the floor. She got close to it and many screens popped out of the table, floating in the air. It was like a scene from any Iron Man movie.

|| It seems like you have done some research.

|| Yes I was not going to just sit around the whole time and do nothing.

|| Well good to hear that. So what do we got here?

|| Well you see this place
She said whole sliding one of the screen towards me. There was a photo on that screen, it was a place it was near an ocean, I guessed. 

|| What is this?

|| This is the place where the demon King is sealed. It is located on an island far away towards the east in the middle of a very big ocean. You see that door. That is the door that is keeping the Demon Lord sealed.

|| So if this seal or the door were to be broken that the Demon Lord will be freed.

|| Yes but this is not that easy. The hero made it sure that the seal would not be broken very easily. The same goes for the door. But there is one flaw that we noticed years ago.

|| What flaw?

|| As you already know that the hero sealed the demon Lord because he wasn't powerful enough to kill him. He wasn't even powerful enough to seal the demon Lord permanently so he used his body as a catalyst to seal the Demon Lord. His body is like a key that can open the seal. But when I examined the seal and the key I found out that because of some disturbance in magic near that area the key broke and was scattered in the whole world.

|| So if someone would be able to collect every piece

|| He can break the seal.

|| But earlier you said you had no idea of what happened to the seal.

|| I still don't know what is wrong with it. Because whatever happens to the key should not affect the seal in any way.

|| So it was something else.

|| Yes

|| What about the disturbance in magic you talked about earlier.

|| I don't know how that happened as well.

|| Are you good or not.

|| Hey that's rude of course I am God but I am not a high-level God.

|| So if you are a low-level God then why you are the one managing all this demon Lord business.

|| That... I cannot tell you. Anyway, it's about time you head back.

|| Hey wait I still have questions to ask

|| Don't you can ask them in our next meeting. And as I said before just don't push yourself too far.

And with that, my vision got all blurry again.
