Missing You (Sequel To Smoking And Bruises)

Camila's POV

"What are y'all doing" I hear. Me and Lauren pull away. I see my mom and Shawn at the door. Lauren scratches the back of her head. I look down at the floor. "I.. I should probably g-go" Lauren stutters. She grabs her jacket and walks out.

I gulp and keep starring at the floor. "Karla" My mom says. I start shaking and sweating "Y-yes mama" I stutter. "What did I talk to you about" My mom says.

(Flashback on)

1 year before....

"Camila lo que iso Lauren no es bien mija" My mom speaks in Spanish "I know ma pero I love her but I'm mad at her" I said "Tu decides mija por el bien de tus hijos" My mom says "Gracias ma" I said and hug her.

"This is for the good of your children" My mom repeats. "I know ma I'll find out what to do but we can't ignore the fact that she is the parent of the kids" I said "We should probably not tell them" My mom says "Why?" I asked "I'm not letting Lauren see them and in time if she wants to fix what she did then I have to give her a talk" My mom says.

"Ok mama I'll find someone to cover up they need another parent for sure because Lauren's absence will create a big pain for the kids if they knew Lauren wasn't there for them" I said.

(Flashback off)

I sigh. "I know mama" I whisper. Shawn comes up to me and hugs me. "If it's your choice to get back with her and let her back in the kids life" He says rubbing my back. "Then do it she deserves to be in the twins life as the parent not as a friend" He says.

I hug him back. "Should I tell them the truth" I whisper. "When the time comes" He says. I pull away and smile at him. He kisses my forehead and I smile. "They have to know mama" I said looking at her. "They do but don't forget what she did" My mom says "We have to forgive her we can't just be mad at her for the rest of our lives" I said.

My mom rolls her eyes. "I'll handle her mama don't worry" I said "If she wants to be back in the kids lives it won't be easy she has to work her way up not just to me but to them" I said and she nods.

Felipe starts moving and I look at him. We look at him. "Hey mami, hey papi" Felipe says and smiles weakly at us. "Hola abuelita" He says and greets my mom. My mom picks him up. All we hear is Emily's breathing mask as she sleeps. I sit next to her and take her small hand in mine.

"Mami where's Waren?" Felipe asks. He comes and sits on my lap. I rub his arms and bite my lip. "She left baby" I said and he whines. "Why" He says. "She has responsibilities babe" I said. We hear a knock at the door to then it opening. I see Normani, Dinah, and Ally walk in. "Hey girls" I said.

"Hey, how is Emi?" Dinah asks "Good she just had a panic attack" I said "Wait how did you know?" I asked "Lauren told us" Normani says. "Where is she?" I asked. "Sitting outside" Ally says. I hand Felipe to Shawn and get up. I open the door and close it.

I look at Lauren. "Hey" I whisper and sit next to her. "H-hey" She stutters putting her phone on her back pocket. "Sorry for earlier" I said. "It's fine" Lauren says.

I lean closer to her. I peck her lips and she smiles after. I stroke Lauren's cheek resting our foreheads together.
