Don't Forget About Me T?P x reader

[3rd Person POV]
(Y/N) followed this newfound man named Tyler out of Dema. He was leading (Y/N) to 'the promised land' or what seems like it compared to Dema.
Only it was different than the (height) girl's original plan. She did not completely trust this Tyler boy for many reasons but, she wanted out more than anything.

"The fuck are you doing?" She asked as Tyler went to reach for the handle of a door.
"Trust me. This leads to a secret pathway." Tyler told as he opened the door.
(Y/N) snuck in as the man followed. The camo wearing man grabbed a torch that hung on the wall and lit it with a small lighter he had in one of many pockets.
He motioned for the girl to follow as they entered an underground staircase.
"What the fuck?" She muttered.
They walked down the long staircase lowering their elevation by the second. Before they turned the last corner Tyler stopped (Y/N) from moving. He did the universal sign for 'be quiet.'
You both heard someone talk.

"Yeah he said he'd bring people back. I mean he's not a complete dumbass." Someone said.
"Yeah. He won't go out the big gates."
The girl felt slightly offended from this possible bishop calling her plan stupid.
Tyler on the other hand looked like he knew the voice. He peeked up when he heard the second voice.
"The bishops use the tunnels too." Another voice said.
"Jorden it's okay, man. We won't get caught."
Tyler gave the girl a nod as he walked down the rest of the stairs, "Josh?" He asked.
The (hair/colour) girl followed behind Tyler.

Josh's eyes went wide and he smiled, "Dude I'm so glad you're okay."
Tyler smiled and handed the torch to the girl, "You too. I saved another." He moved aside showing the group behind Josh (Y/N).
"Hey guys, I'm (Y/N).. I was promised a get out of Dema free card."
Josh smiled, "I like your humour-" Tyler looked opposed to that comment,"My name's Josh. And these guys are free of Dema and have become banditos."
The girl still carrying her backpack smiled, "Hey guys. You all look cool.. but um.. what's with the yellow and the tape?"
Tyler scoffed like the girl didn't know what 2 + 2 was.
Josh explained how it was the rebel colour and the bishops couldn't register yellow.
"Yellow colourblindnesses?"
Josh nodded, "Something like that yeah."
"So anyways. Another saved." Tyler said, acting like this was another milk run.

Josh motioned for (Y/N) and Tyler to follow him and the group down the secret halls. Both of them followed suit and walked until Josh stopped.
The female was slightly confused due to the sudden stop in motion.
Josh faces her, "Hold out you arm." He asked more that said as a statement.
The girl did as asked.
Josh pulled out a roll of yellow tape and rolled it on her right bicep as her left held a torch. He then cut the tape.
She looked down at the yellow tape of her dark green sweater then back at Josh. She now noticed the tape on Josh himself. It was two uneven lines that connected like an X. The meet was whereabouts his heart rested. Interesting.

Josh who seemed like the leader moved to Tyler and placed a strip of tape on his left shoulder. Then another on his right. After, he put the yellow tape back from where he first got it.
Every Bandito always carries something yellow on them, at all times.

"Ready to come back?" Josh asked.
Tyler shook his head and Josh looked confused.
"I'm gonna go save more people I'll spend another day and save the next night."
"Tyler. It takes a day and a half to get to trench." Josh stressed to his best friend.
"Dude, I'll be okay. If I take any longer than four days, than somethings up." Tyler promised his return.
Josh nodded, "Alright. See you then."
The boys smiled.
"Dema don't control us."
Josh smiled, "I like it. You were writing weren't you?"
Tyler chuckled, "Yeah. Made some sorta song. I'll finish it by the next time we see each other."
"Nice. It's a good simple phrase to chant."
"That was the point. And East is up." Tyler shared a moment with his most trusted allie.
"Take care." Josh smiled softly.
Tyler just nodded. Even in a simple nod showed many emotions.

The boys started to do a very elaborate handshake. They did a bro hug and snapped at the end. Tyler took the torch right out of (Y/N)'a hand without a word. The (hair colour) girl didn't have a strong
liking towards Tyler. He's been nothing but bitchy towards her. Then again, her first word to the man was a very sassy 'duh.'

As Tyler was no longer in eye sight, Josh motioned to the group, "To trench!" He slightly rose his voice to make it clear where the next stop was.
The new girl stuck with Josh since he was the only one she knew.

She asked what Trench was.
"It's a base- a settlement these people have created where everyone can be who they truly are and have the freedom to do as they please. It isn't the kingdom of Alexandria but it's better than Dema." The man adjusted his bandanna as he explained.
"I like that reference." The girl smiled softly

"Well, the green, yellow and yellow tape combined is our armour- figuratively." Josh explained as the new girl listened. "We call it a Jumpsuit. Tyler wrote a song about how it protects us.. I actually wrote some of it."
(Y/N) smiled, "That's sick!"
Josh chuckled at her words. Almost as if it was an inside joke of some sort.
"What?" The girl asked, confused but a smile made its way on her face.
Josh smiled back at (Y/N), "You'll fit right in (Y/N)."
